Ill try to be as objective as possible with my review. Ive played this golf course easily 100 times over the years since its been open. The course had always been known for immaculate conditions. Fast, firm fairways and lightning quick greens. For the past couple of years since the new ownership the conditions have deteriorated. Certainly not a dog track, but far from what it was in the past. I recently visited Boise Idaho for work and play. Banbury was the second of three public courses I played during my visit. I'm sad I didn't take any pics of this very nice, well kept parkland style course.Banbury GC is about 20 mins from downtown Boise Idaho. Not a problem taking an UBER there but expect to wait for a ride to pick you up.The course is well framed by beautiful contemporary homes within a suburb of Twin Rivers. Banbury Golf Course is a must visit in the treasure valley. The track is challenging, especially from the further tees as there is a variety of water and vegetation hazards throughout the course, especially on the back 9. I’ve had the opportunity to work with the greens keeping staff here, and it’s apparent the club takes pride in managing the course, keeping it green and clean making for a beautiful golf experience.
