Wow! That's all I can say. I've been to El Gallo Giro before, and every time, it has been wonderful. The staff is more than wonderful. Patient, kind, and helpful. The food is great! The decorations make it feel like you're in Mexico. It's very traditional. The floor and the bathrooms are clean. What superb food and terrific service! This place is mostly frequented by local Hispanics. It is owned by a couple originally from Michocan, and they are at the restaurant most of the time. We always ask for whole beans, and they are delicious! I rated the atmosphere a "5" because, although simple, it is warm friendly and clean. We have eaten here a number of times, and the food/service are consistently excellent.

For all the credit card crybabies: I own a small business. I also charge 3% to run a credit card. The wealthy banks get that 3% cut, not the merchant….a crazy redistribution of wealth for every transaction that is made. It’s good for the cardholders to feel the pain of swiping their card. If you are in such bad financial shape that you need to finance your taco and margarita dinner, then you shouldn’t be eating out anyhow. Support local small businesses by paying cash.
