It's HARD to find a good and authentic taco shop in Boise. Californians will know what I'm talking about. This one, this one is good. Not quite like "home" but it works in a pinch. Example? You KNOW it's legit when they serve lengua (tongue) tacos. So come try this place and enjoy the fact they have legitimately hot salsa!
Tacos El Rey is a hidden gem! I ordered the Al pastor, carne asada and adobada tacos! All three were delicious! I asked for three different kinds of chile or salsa and all were amazing, especially the habanero! I highly recommend them! The food was prepared to perfection and came out quickly!

Everything tastes homemade and like it was made with love. I'm being so serious. This place should be featured on Food Network at some point. HUGE shout out to the chefs. They are just straight up talented. (Order the al pastor taco plate :)
