I’ve been eating Hugo’s since high school in Meridian in the early-mid eighties. Then, I worked on State Street for many years and often ate at that location. I just had it again for the first time in a long time. That sandwich and fries always tastes exactly like it did 37 years ago! Yay for consistency! Yay, Hugo’s!
This has easily became one of our favorite deli's in Boise! Better than Subway, Jimmy John's, and even Firehouse in my opinion. You can tell that all of their ingredients are fresh, and their signature sandwiches are all amazing! There's a sandwich here to satisfy all of your different cravings. My personal favorites are the Reuben and the Wartman. And their homemade Fry Sauce is the best in Boise! 10/10 would recommend!!

I was too hungry to take a picture before I inhaled the first part of this sandwich. We are new to the area and saw this place while we were out and about. Hugo's is a MUST stop place. The food is fresh and incredibly delicious. Not to mention the chocolate chip cookie was one of the best I've ever had! I told my husband that next time I'm not sharing! Lol. Basically, go to Hugo's!
