Dave and Martha led a fantastic swing class! I got my wife a package of dance lessons for a Christmas gift and since my wife and I are beginners they did a great job slowing things down in the group setting. They made sure everyone understood basics, and then after that there was ample time for everyone to dance their hearts out and have a good time! If I could give six stars I would!!

I purchased a Valentines couple's dance lesson package a year ago. My wife attempted to contact the studio on several occasions. She left messages with no returned phone calls. When someone did answer, my wife was told to call back later to arrange a lesson. We went to a group lesson because it was included in the package. After arriving at the studio, we informed the gentleman behind the counter about our problems arranging a private lesson, the gentleman was nice, took our information, but never responded to our issues or helped us arrange a lesson. The group lesson was fun, but we paid for private lessons and have never received them. Needless to say, we did not have a good experience with Idaho Ballroom Dance Center.
This was a fun place and everyone was very helpful. Would like to hear better music during the free dance.

We (two couples) are into our third series of six lessons -- and LOVE it. Speaking for my husband and me, we are complete beginners, with no talent. And yet, Martha Pohl and Dave Taylor have been as patient (and encouraging) as can be, breaking everything down so that it's understandable to each of us. They are flexible, positive, and very importantly, excellent communicators. They give their all in each and every lesson -- no matter how slow we are to pick things up, or how quickly we learn. Couldn't recommend them more highly!

If you have ever watched old movies with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse and wished you could dance like them, well this is the place to start fulfilling your dreams. Martha Pohl and Dave Taylor are wonderful, patient, fun instructors who can turn your two-left feet into happy feet. I've had the privilege of attending classes and workshops taught by Martha and Dave in fox trot, waltz, tango, rumba, and cha cha, and each session has been fun and invigorating and always leave me wanting to learn more. In addition to the lessons, there's also a social dance after the lesson every Friday night so you get to try out your new moves on the dance floor.
