Lamai is our go-to for Thai food in Nampa. The food here just seems to be so full of fresh flavor. The ladies who run this truck are always so friendly and full of info on their food, Thailand in general, etc. We always are bummed when they close for a few months at the beginning of the year, but it's because they go back to Thailand to teach cooking. Great place!

I haven't tried everything but what I have is absolutely delicious. Serving sizes are more than generous. The seating area is so cute, lots of plants and decor. The service is very good. The Curry is the BEST I've ever had! Food is piping hot when it comes out, so be careful. The Thai tea and boba is perfection. I have tried at least 4 other Thai places this is always what I compare them to. This place is the best in the area no other comes close!Vegetarian options: They ask what protein option you want. Tofu, pork, shrimp or chicken.

They're slipping. I paid $95 including tip for pad thai, krapaw, 2 orders of spring rolls and 3 iced thai teas. They decided to give my order of fried rice to the customer after me and decided to substitute my fried rice for just more spring rolls. I didn't realize it until I got home. Next time just give me my money back.

My wife and I lived across the street from an excellent Thai restaurant in Vancouver, WA, years ago before moving here. Once we came to the Treasure Valley, we went on the hunt for a delicious Thai place we could call our own once again. Lamai Thai is it! The curries are spot on, the cashew chicken is a marvelous blend of flavors, and the fried rice is surprisingly well seasoned (not sure what the secret is there). Location is basically a sitting food cart, which is nicely done up. Oh, but call ahead to place your order! It will save you time.

Driving through the area, I was drawn in by their online photos. I just knew it was going to be bomb and authentic - and it was! Between each bite of the Thai noodle soup, I could not stop myself from saying, "THIS IS SO GOOD" over and over and over. We are now headed back out of town and going out of our way to make this our stop for lunch. So excited.If you would like to annoy your lunch companion by uncontrollably commenting on how amazing the food is with each bite, definitely check this place out.I also enjoyed looking at all the photos of the students at the schools! I love this place. Noi is a sweet lady who manages to cook a decent selection of dishes from her little food truck. My family has eaten here at least a dozen times and the food is consistently delicious. We usually get the Pad Thai, Pad Kra Pow (yum!), and yellow curry. They have a small seating area outside that people use when it's warm. They do close for like two months between Jan-March so the owner can travel to Thailand. Noi takes all the tip money she receives and helps orphanages in her home country. Heart of gold!

Love the food but you better not have anything going on if you order from this place. It takes ages for even the most simple order to be completed. Calling ahead doesn't help either, you'll still be in for a hefty wait.
