My husband and I enjoy going here. They have delicious bbq and sides. They give decent portions. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We typically get the 3 meats and 3 sides plate. Brisket is to die for!! Best place to get BBQ in Nampa.
So happy to have stumbled upon The Block/H&M meats.The food was delicious and the portions are ginormous (like five meals worth of food)!will definitely be back.I ordered the two meats and three sides and truly can’t pick a favorite bc everything was so good. Highly recommend: pulled pork, pork belly, cheesy potatoes, Mac and cheese, and beans (with pork belly) ??

My husband and I came for dinner and ordered the ribs with mac and cheese and pulled pork sandwich. We were blown away by how good everything was! From the service to the food to the bbq sauce, everything was sooo good! Full bar and plenty of beer choices. We will definitely be back again and again!

This place is absolutely incredible. Stopped by in the afternoon to grab some plates to go and can't stop raving about it since. Easily the best BBQ I've had since moving here and possibly ever - TX BBQ has nothing on it. I'm going to be dreaming of the short rib.To top it off, had a great chat with the guy behind the counter and the music they play is definitely my jam. Will gladly be going back.

Went into this restaurant for the first time and let me tell you, I was not disappointed one single bit! All in our party had the brisket and all with different sides. All agreed that the brisket was the tenderest and most delicious BBQ we have ever tasted! There appeared to only be one person on duty and he cooked, served and cleaned so he was a one man crew running the place! I give both him and the restaurant an easy five stars...we will be back and would highly recommend this place! (Note to owners or managers, this man deserves a raise)
EXCELLENT! We visited from Louisiana and found the BEST bbq we’ve ever eaten. Mike was FANTASTIC and the owner was AMAZING as well! We highly recommend this GREAT establishment!

My boyfriend and I live a few blocks away. So excited they are finally open!! We ordered the brisket, pork belly, coleslaw, cheesy potatoes and Mac & cheese.The brisket was perfection, tender with the perfect amount of smoky and spice. Pork belly was the best I have ever had- not too fatty but juicy and full of flavor. The sides were good compliment to the meat. Loved the cheesy potatoes. The coleslaw could use a bit more flavor, and the Mac also was missing something. But… the sauces were ALL good. I especially loved the Carolina bbq sauce. A must have.This is a great neighborhood hang out. Good ambiance and soon to have games. Mike was super friendly and helpful.
The meat at The Block is really good. The brisket is good and the pork belly was great, however I found the sides were terrible. The mac and cheese is greasy and bland. The coleslaw was not edible; I wondered if it had gone bad. And the baked beans had good flavor but we're so undercooked that they were crunchy. I will still go for the ?? but I will avoid the sides from now on.
Right off the bat I'm going to say that the food was beyond incredible!Dickeys bbq I thought was the only bbq place which sucks. This place blows them right out of the water with the incredible food they served me. The guy (I think named doug) told me that the sauces were home made as well. I will absolutely be back to this place.
Wow!!! Found this little hidden gem and it's barbecued heaven. We are definitely picky as we barbecue at home often. The brisket, pulled pork and ribs were amazing. The Mac and cheese was as good as grandmas. They are reasonably priced and worth every penny and then some! We will be back soon

This is the best local bbq, the price point is great and service is awesome! The Carolina sauce is so good and I recommend the huckleberry pork belly sandwich.
