“I ate here on Friday the 17th at the recommendation of a friend. It's a good place to go for Mexican food.I ordered the Burrito de Carne Asada and the Chicken Taquitos to-go. Both items were very tasty and flavorful. Good size burrito and packed full, as you will see in my picture, with beans and rice. I was surprised actually how much carne asada was in the burrito. The menu is a pretty basic Mexican restaurant menu that you can find at almost any Mexican restaurant. They do offer a lot of dishes on their menu. I asked the hostes which dish she recommended, and all i got for an answer was, "There are so many choices." ?Overall, it was a good experience. It only took about 15 minutes to get my food ready. They packaged my burrito on a paper plate, which I didn't mind because I didn't have to dirty any dishes. The restaurant seemed very clean. As I was waiting for my food, several groups of people came in and were seated almost immediately. So, there does not appear to be a long wait time to be seated. Even for a Friday night. The staff seemed very friendly and inviting.I'd recommend Chapala's for anyone. I'll probably go back again and try new items. K!“
“This place is AMAZINGLY good! I've been here several times, and I decided it was time to give them a review! I'd recommend Las Peñitas to anyone who likes Mexican food! I have never had a bad experience at Las Peñitas! The food here is consistently delicious and full of flavor. I had the carne asada super burrito today, and it was sooo good! 3 hours after eating that burrito, and I'm still full! The staff are friendly and quick, the restaurant is clean and has an authentic atmosphere to it! Food is prepared pretty quickly, and the prices are very reasonable! They do get very busy at times, so keep that in mind when you decide to eat here. Don't leave a bad review saying you had to wait forever for your food. It's a popular place to eat and a lot of people come here!I'll continue coming back here. Try it for yourself!“
“This is easily the best restaurant in Pocatello! Every time we pass through, this is a must stop. Anything you order is guaranteed to satisfy. We usually split a super burrito, but they started serving birria tacos and couldn't resist. Support local!“
“My friend and I came here to eat and I was SO IMPRESSED with the food, I ordered the shredded beef flautas and loved it... Especially with the green sauce they have, I literally want to put that sauce on everything! I look forward to coming back, and bringing my family, too. ?“
“I usually get tacos here and I love them. Tonight I got the Chile Verdi burrito to go. It was tasty and nice portion sizes. I will most likely have some for leftovers. The pork chunks are a nice size and the green sauce is just spicy enough. They gave me extra if I wanted to put more on it. PS. I also like getting their horchata which is mildly flavored and sweet.“
“One of my favorite local brunch spots! Great main dishes, very reasonable prices! Love the main dishes, the supportive sides like breakfast potatoes could use a little more love and thought - but still good! Great food, great prices, great atmosphere. Would highly recommend!!“
“Great manager offered us a better menu price because of the special they were having we didn’t know about. Nice service to mention it to us. Ordered fried bean burrito and corn tacos with Mexi fries. Food was good with the exception of the fries. Seem to be sitting awhile or overcooked. Other than that good experience.“
“Went here for lunch. Service was GREAT!!! Poor guy ( our server) was tending bar and serving tables. He was busy but did a fantastic job. Odered off the $8.99 lunch menu, got the beef Tamale, and it was pretty good. Daughter ordered a margarita. The food came out quick, hot, and plenty of it.“
“Puerto Vallarta is where Perkins used to be. I was in Pocatello for the weekend and decided to try it. I ordered the spicy chicken with rice and a bean soup. My wife ordered a burger and fries. The menu said the chicken was spice level 2. I took one bite and was surprised how spicy it was. I wasn't prepared for how hot it was, but it was still manageable. I was able to finish the meal. I'd just warn those with a low spice tolerance to maybe get something on the mild end.My wife's burger was on toast rather than a bun, but she said it was tender and the bread was not soggy. The horchata tasted watered down so it was kind of disappointing.Servers all speak Spaninsh here.“
“I was camping last summer with our two youngest kids near Pocatello and we wanted Mexican street food, from a food truckI don't remember who recommended us El Herradero, but the food was fantastic, the portions pretty big, the price very decent for what we got, can't wait to try it again on my travels.Only Mexican food we get in Calgary, Alberta Canada is Taco Bell, you should open a location here...Parking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Its a food truck, there's no access impediments“
“The Food is Delicious! Large portions feeding us for lunch supper and lunch tomorrow! Friendly atmosphere and Caleb is a fantastic chef. Had the Supreme Burrito and the Smothered Burrito with sweet Pork soooo YUMMY! And to top it off the Strawberry ChimiChanga....Perfect all around!“
“Alyssa ROCKS! She helped me with a dash order a few weeks ago and we had problem after problem with the dash company. I have been meaning to write a review about this experience for a few weeks now and finally have the time. Her customer service and understanding are impeccable. Her communication with third parties and her customers she is personally working with are something to be admired. She has wonderful skills in solving problems that arise in her workplace and she focuses on solving the problem not just handing it to someone else. I appreciate this about this individual. If she is not in a management position already, I feel she would make an amazing candidate and bring so much to the table if given the chance. I hope she contines to exceed at her place of employment. It is my wish that she has a chance to read this review as well and it brightens her day! You are rockin' it, girlfriend! Keep up the outstanding work!PS...I am not a personal friend of this individuals. I am merely an outsider who was blessed to have our paths cross at a late night Taco Bell door dash order intersection.“
“my wife and I had dinner here for the first time tonight. hands down the best dining experience we have ever had. great food great drinks and even better atmosphere and people. can't wait to bring our friends. just sorry we waited so long to try it.“
