“The food here is SO GOOD!!! The service is even better! Our waitress was such a sweetheart. I wish I could remember her name. I will absolutely be back! They were extremely accommodating for me as a vegetarian, substitutions for beans was no problem. The bean dip they serve with chips is divine, I could drink that stuff! Portion sizes were perfect, definitely on the large side. (I couldn't finish mine). Prices are quite reasonable too. Seven of us ate for about $130 including tip. My only regret is that I didn't have room left for churros and fried ice cream.Vegetarian options: I had no issue swapping out meat for beans in my burrito.Kid-friendliness: My kids loved their food and keep asking to go back!”

“Just stop everything and go. It’s all been divine. Birria is my favorite. Al pastor knocked my socks off. My spouse loves the Idaho burrito.Churros will not make it home because you will just eat them. Don’t fight it.”

“Hoot owl is a staple in northern idaho. If you serve portions this big it's really hard to get below 4 stars. Always tasty, always affordable. The folks here are real nice too. Give these guys your money”

“As good as it gets when it comes to breweries! We're in town for a ski trip and decided to stop by Laughing Dog - highly recommend if you are anywhere in the Sandpoint area. Beers are great, and the food is truly scrumptious. We got Korean sliders & seafood mac (both incredible). Also love the dog-friendly atmosphere. Service was friendly and attentive. Hope to come back while we're in town!”

My baby had a blowout during eating here that went out of her clothes and on to the floor without me knowing about it and the owner promptly cleaned it up with no hesitation and reissued me that it was okay that it happens! “Beet and Basil is a very special flavor factory that proves a heavily vegetarian menu can impress any pallette! Get the "banh mi" sandwich to enjoy a perfectly crusty, yet chewy baguette with chicken (or tofu...but why?), fresh herbs, crisp vegetables accompanied with blasts of Asian flavors from a mix of three different soy sauces. My vegetarian spouse vouches for the herbed and delicately sweet "curry and naan" as a definite repeat purchase! Thank you, Beet and Basil crew, for being a bastion for adventurous and well-executed dishes and service! We will be back for more! (We won't tell anybody about how good the "lavender cheesecake" was because we don't want other customers to hog our share!)Vegetarian options: Excellent variety of vegetarian options. “Incredible! This place is super busy, line out the door but good vibes, so asked for waiting list spot. The lady says 15-20 min with full house and 3 groups in front of us. We were seated 10 min later. We sampled the traditional plates, tacos, enchiladas, tamales, rice and beans. Every item as good as our benchmark, we travel the world and eat out often but have never experienced this level of efficiency in a packed out restaurant. Ordered an extra Taco Ala cart, arrived in literally 2 min. The staff from hostess to bartender to waiter we so genuinely friendly, happy and helpful we were blown away. Excellent meal and margaritas at a better than average price point. Best all round experience in quite a while, no wonder they are so busy! I rarely post 5 stars, only for exceptional. Worth a wait! Highly recommended.”

“12 years prior to this review I ate here. 12 year later I had the chance to come back by and eat again.This is a good little restaurant. Food is well prepared. People are friendly. The bar is the center point of the building, so bring some friends and watch some sports or just hang out.Parking is at a premium. It's shared with the hotel and it gets busy.Happy to have made it back again.”

“Farmhouse Kitchen bbq was one of the best bbq places I have eaten at. I will definitely be back. Definitely try the Mac and Cheese. I had it with the smoked brisket. Delicious and very large portions. Enough for e meals. They have sift drinks and alcohol beverages as well.”

“Amazing customer service, such a sweet guy! The food is awesome and we even felt comfortable enough to try something new. My boyfriend loved this place before and now I do too. We got a whole bunch of food; beef, beef tongue, chicken tacos, fish quesadillas, and carne Asada burritos that we finished fast. It's messy but so good!”

“Best fast food restaurant in sandpoint, they always have the food out in a timely matter and they don’t sacrifice quality for speed. The staff are always fun to talk to and have a great attitude towards their customers. I love this place and it is my favorite place to get French fry’s from.”
