“This place isn't very big, but the flavor of the food is! I normally post a picture of what I get. Unfortunately, it looked and smelled so good I couldn't wait. The ingredients were fresh and only took a few minutes to prepare. The cashier and the cook were both very friendly and you could tell they keep it clean here too. If you're in the area and have $5 to spare run in and grab a taco. Try something different and let me know how your experience was.“
“My OG go to. It's not a great place for a beer selection, so don't come here for that, but the food is good, and the staff are great, very attentive and very friendly. There are some good deals like the 20 taco tray. I love the Birilla de Borrego. Latin music is lit, and it's a very comfortable vibe.“
“I really liked the place. The restaurant is very cute inside and has a nice bar. We ordered a couple margaritas which were good. The all you can eat chips were amazing along with the salsa. My only complaint was my dinner was so spicy and it was just fish tacos. My other friends also complained about the same thing. One had shrimp tacos and the other shrimp enchiladas. I've been to many Mexican restaurants and don't remember those types of dishes being that spicy. All in all I would come back again as drinks and chips were very good.“
“I’m not big on reviews, but these guys absolutely deserve one. I would post a picture of the food but I ate it too fast before writing this. Their tortas are not on the list to review, but they’re low-key a “hidden gem” here. By hidden I mean they’re on the back page of the menu but if you choose to get them, you will not be disappointed. They’re loaded to the brim, packed with flavor, and the bread is crispy and everything you want out of your torta filling holder. I’ll be trying their pizza next, as the single slices were top tier. They seem like super genuine people who care about their customers and I can’t recommend stopping by for a bite enough.“
“Taco Maya is definitely my new favorite Mexican restaurant. The food blew my expectations through the roof. The flavoring of every dish is on point and it’s like every bite takes you through a journey of deliciousness. My family and I started off with chips and salsa. It was so much fun to try all the salsas they have at their open salsa bar. Next we ordered some Cajun fries, which had the perfect fry-to-seasoning ratio. Let me just say, the spice mix on the fries has just the right amount of kick! For the main courses, we took the 3 taco plate, kids quesadilla, and burritos. They were all so yummy, hot, and fresh! The one thing I can say is, I wish they gave more quesadilla. It was a pretty small quantity.Dessert. I recommend the fried ice cream. It is the best ice cream I have ever had. They used Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. It was so delish with the French vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream.Anyone that has the chance should definitely try this place! It is so good!“
“First time here. Really cool atmosphere. Lots of neon green and black. Creative names for menu items. Staff was nice. Tried a burrito with steak and shrimp and then you can choose your other ingredients which is nice. I would eat here again.“
“Went here for lunch and it was so much more relaxed than going in the evening. The veggie fajitas were delicious and my friend had the taco salad. She said there was no dressing on it, but when she inquired, the server was quick to offer options. Definitely will return!“
“Yesterday was free burrito day and the place was packed! The line went out the door and people kept coming! But all the kind workers kept their cool and was working nonstop! They did a great job at handling the mob of hungry people. Please give them all a raise “
“I called to place an order for takeout, good service, the same when picking up my order in terms of flavor, the pastor tacos are very delicious, also the pork rind tacos taste very similar to carnitas and the tripe tacos only lack a little salt but with the sauces it is also solved very good flavor finally the huitlacoche quesadilla very good flavor the price seemed good compared to other restaurants in the area I will definitely return as long as they maintain the same flavor thank you“
“I lost my wallet here December 27 2023 just Wednesday. A man called later saying his wife found it, they called me on a restricted # I can't call them back. I said to take my wallet to a nearby establishment Wich I frequently visit. So far it's not showed up. Please if you see this please return my wallet to Zen Leaf. Thank you.“
“Amazing. It's probably the only place that has sanitizers around 3, paper towels, napkins. The service is great. We didn't know what exactly to order so the guy gave as one tamales for free just to try it. :) He was very kind and patient since we wasted a lot of his time with questions Very good place! Highly recommend it :)“
