“My wife has been buying the homemade dinner rolls for a while. Tonight was our first time ordering supper. We got 3 orders of Chicken fried Steak, mashed potatoes and Gravy, homemade bread slice. I had coleslaw, my wife had Mac salad and my father in law had applesauce. We also got 2 slices of Butterscotch pie. I added my friends hot powder to mine. I love * SPICY*. The food was fantastic. Everyone working was super nice to us, chatted with us while we waited for our food. We will be back! Keep up the great work ladies ☺️☺️.”

“Really good pizza. Fish sandwiches are also good as well as walleye dinner. Ribs and steak can be hit or miss, anything with BbQ sauce has a disappointing mustard base. Good prices. Can get crowded on weeknights or any time ordering pizza. Surprisingly varied lunch menu. A solid choice with a decent menu for a small town tavern.”

“Godfather’s pizza has excellent tangy pizza sauce! They put plenty of toppings and the pizza crust is delish! I had never had Godfather’s pizza and was needing a quick bite while traveling. Thankfully, they had ready made pizzas and I got a small one. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a little dry as you might expect with a ready made, but i was blown away by the great ROBUST flavor. Needless to say, I came back to try a freshly made pizza and was not disappointed! SO good. Godfather’s is now my go to pizza. So glad they’re in my area! The price is great, too!”

“Everything is amazing here! The prices are so reasonable, and everyone is so friendly. This is worth a visit! We all loved the ice cream and took some cinnamon rolls and other treats with us. “What a wonderful, long standing, fan favorite in Geneseo. They make coffees, smoothies, Italian sodas, chai, and a few other drinks. Their fudge is to die for especially their signature fudge! It's located downtown and is near other shops and cafes worth checking out. They also have weekly specials and daily treats. Along with their punch cards, it's worth stopping in. Highly recommend a strawberry, watermelon, passion fruit smoothie or root beer Italian soda.”

“They really do have the best potato salad you can buy, and the cole slaw is just as good. I've always made my own, because most of what you can buy is pretty bad. Now I just buy it there. Their meats are high quality and sliced to order. The pastrami is delicious, and it's the real deal, beef, baby. No ridiculous turkey pastrami blasphemy happening here! They also have the most amazing dill pickle sandwich slices. Get them and be happy.”

“Drove from Kewanee to get food to-go recently and it was wonderful! When I went in there were about 6-8 other people waiting for orders, and there was limited staff but my order still only took 20-25 minutes and was large. They were kind and packed everything very nicely for travel!”

She’s been my sandwich artist twice now truly makes it an art form, everything is so carefully placed and spaced that it feels like you’re about to eat something gourmet. You can tell she’s worked fancier food jobs than this one by her rapport and bangin’ service, Subway is lucky to have her and so is every person she serves. She even remembered me and my friend from the last time we ate here over a month before. The woman is a sandwich saint. 13/10 if she’s working, I’m not one to review fast food most of the time but she keeps me coming back ♥️”

“I have been going here more than 15 years and always enjoy an opportunity to return. I look for consistency in food taste and that is why I enjoy it. I know what I'm getting always especially on the buffet. I can't speak to take out but be patient for food to be refilled on buffet and you can't go wrong. More food coming as former owner Bill would say. Best hot and sour soup anywhere.”
