“We've often had their delicious baked goods. This time we had the Quiche! So glad we did. It was so creamy & flavorful. Plenty of room near the coffee bar or in the attached room where they roast the beans. We love coffee houses & this one is special. It has a relaxing atmosphere, great baked goods & now we know how delicious their quiche is! Oh, and it's has very good coffee. It is well worth the 35 minutes it takes to drive here. “In town on business and was looking for something different. I had a sandwich on their homemade bread, potato salad, and a piece of pie. The environment was great, and the staff matched the environment. I loved the sandwich and the potato salad. I'm picky about my coconut pie, so I'm not going to hold that against them. “They have a number of their own very good beers on tap supplemented by good beers from other breweries. They don't serve food so eat before you come or fill up with beer. Trivia ordinarily Wednesday night but I stopped by on a Sunday and played in a special trivia event. Great atmosphere and staff. I strongly recommend this place if you're near Lincoln”

“I hadn't ever had Champs chicken until about a month ago. Their chicken is by far THE BEST I've ever had hands down. It's so crispy and the oil they fry the chicken in literally tastes like butter to me. I would highly recommend anyone that loves other competitors to try this, and then see where you stand. “Never been to this city ever. I travel a lot. My lil ranger hit some debris on the highway and my brake line got severed so I got stuck here for the night. Walked here from the motel 6, and oh my good God. This place was everything I needed to pick me back up on my feet. Taylor was bartending, and made my night. Im talking about pure positivity, a regular knows a mechanic and hes gonna help me tomorrow morning to get me back on the road. This place is a site for sore eyes. Thank you Taylor and your bar neighbors for being quality human beings. 100 out of 10 recommend. This place will bring you out of your sorrows without even trying. Im in love with this town and I will make this place an absolute destination when I pass through again!”

“Just got a donut at their new location and it tasted better than all the other Mel-O-Cream donuts I’ve had before! The store was very clean. They are now open until 7:00 every day of the week. The owner told us that if they are out of a specific kind of donut you like, you can ask them to make it in the back because they fill and ice all their donuts there. The owner also said they will be starting to brew different kinds of specialty coffee and make smoothies. He was very friendly and engaging in conversation. I don’t live in Lincoln so unfortunately I won’t be able to go super often, but I recommend this store to anyone hankering for a fresh donut!!”

“This isn't your typical Chinese place. It had a small buffet for lunch. The food taste very authentic and reminds me of Chinese restaurant food before buffets took over. The fried rice and egg rolls remind me of what my mother use to make back in the 1970s. Although the buffet is small... the food is awesome, a lot better then most Chinese restaurant buffets..”
