Really good food the salsa is killer. So sad to hear the owner passed away recently ?. And no one to take over. so it seems after today or in the next week it's closing for good. Hopefully they can figure something out. Was there today probably for the last time.
We eat here every few weeks! Their food is so good and their service is so friendly and very fast!!! I love their margaritas. It’s a hidden gem in Aurora. The owner is very friendly to patrons which is another reason we keep coming back!! Try their cocktail de camaroon, any of their combinations, their nachos, a quesadilla or a taco. You will not be disappointed. Their Mexican rice is very tasty as well!
When I lived in Aurora I loved to eat there, especially the caldo de res. I compare all Mexican restaurants to the food at La Cabana. Few measure up. Their food reminded me of that my mother-in-law made.
