This place has a good ambience and nice drinks. My wife loved her drink( fire and ice). Food was good, their rack of lamb was delicious but their chicken fried rice missed something ( some spices I guess) and was OK. Sushi rolls were too good to Not miss. Veg pot stickers are also good. Service was good.
Shakou does look beautiful from the outside,but I was not impressed with food. First of all, everything could use some extra touch, either more seasoning or more attention to how the food exits the kitchen. The calamari were more on the chewy side, and the spicy dipping sauce wasn't remarkable. On the other hand, the nachos with the spicy tuna dip were really good.
