“My bf and I went for the first time last evening, and we were enchanted with this little restaurant! We were immediately greeted and told we could sit anywhere we liked. Delicious salsa and chips were brought soon after, and then we ordered our food from the menu. The prices were great for what we received, and the food was wonderful! The waitress was attentive and friendly, too. We will definitely be going back!”

“OK this place is legit. I lived on the west coast for long time and have had a hard time finding good Mexican food since I moved to Illinois. Now I’ve only been to this truck once but dang I think I finally found the food I’ve been missing. These guys cook up some legit Mexican food. Just know that they barely speak any English and only accept cash! Thank you hermanos!”

“Great food and friendly people, but their card machine didn't work and I wasn't told about it till I tried to pay with a card. I had to use their ATM and get charged a $2.75 fee. The waitress was helpful when I asked her for local info. Also, I believe they close at 2:00 ”

“I feel this is the BEST Mexican food restaurant in the area. Homemade chips, salsa great! I ordered special spicy cheese enchiladas with onions & jalapenos & they were so yummy! Highly recommend!”

“We were just passing thru yesterday. It was Sunday and pretty packed inside, but they got us a table as soon as we stepped thru the door. The food came out quick and tasted excellent. Prices were better than most Mexican restaurants, too. Definitely recommend this place. Keep up the good work.”

“Only giving 4 stars because the manager working on 6/23 in the afternoon was one of the nicest people I've ever met and did a great job of taking care of us. I was disappointed in the burger quality. Fries were great but burgers and bacon definitely needed some help. They all tasted like they were microwaved and not cooked on a grill or flat top.”

“As we were on a small roadtrip across IL my husband promised me some fresh Mcdonalds fries if I did the night driving. As I pulled in through the drive thru I contemplated what size fries I wanted. "Get the bigguns" spoke the wise words of the drive thru attendant Billy. I did order the large and they were perfectly salty and hot. Billy is the type of employee that every McDonalds needs, he knows what the people want and we want the bigguns fries. He also suggested a movie for us to watch (which I will Billy I promise). I sadly won't be back to this McDonald's location because I live far away, but I'll always remember Billy as the top tier of what an experience could be. All future employee interactions will be judged on a Billy scale, and as someone who just wanted some fries, I gained a whole lot more.”

“I was looking for a place to eat a little something something around Rushville since I'm not really from the state nor the area. I walked in South Side Cafe where I didnt feel welcome by some of the customers, but that's their problem. When it comes to the Cafe itself the FOOD and the STAFFS were very pleasant. Guys don't be afraid to walk in anywhere you feel, as long the staff or the owner treat you with respect. South Side is THE place to eat, specially the Friday Special ( Cat Fish) I'm just saying.Thank you guys for making feel welcome at your restaurant.”

“Don't let the modest appearance fool you. If I hadn't checked their rating first, I probably wouldn't have stopped here. But I am so glad I did! My daughter and I split an order of delightfully crispy crab rangoon, and we also shared General Tso' chicken and an order of beef lo mein. Everything was fresh made to order and the portions were enough that we each had leftovers for later. The service was wonderful; very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely visit again when we're in Rushville!”
