Just moved to Belvidere a few years ago from Chicago. Getting use to living in a country community. Love it. This is my 1st time at Ned's. I was given a gift certificate for Christmas. What a gem. The restaurant had a unique charm, and atmosphere. Our server was great and personable. Good Bloody Mary, and delicious food. ? plan on going back.
I enjoy the whole experience at Ned's Diner: Friendly and prompt staff, creative and delicious dishes, a comfortable atmosphere, and an excellent value!Update: always great. Today was no exception!

Had the country fried steak with 2 eggs, hashbrowns with onions and Texas toast. The country sausage gravy on the steak was off the charts. Huge serving of potatoes perfectly cooked with perfectly grilled onions. Great tasting food, huge amounts very clean and great service. Can't wait to have lunch there. They have a very good looking Loaded Bloody Mary. ??
