Four points to make: 1. Panera's turn to "clean" food has done them in. My favorites are gone. The sandwiches that are left are overpriced and not very good. Case in point: Their Italian sandwich used to be of manly proportions and quite tasty. Naturally, they changed it. For the same price they made it smaller by about 50%. They put it on smaller bread. There was only one time I was missing dressing on my salad, but otherwise I come in here for take out about once every few months and they always do well in both service and quality. All employees I've come into contact with have been friendly and efficient.

This panera is a pretty good franchise. The service is good. People are pretty friendly. The tables are usually cleaned very quickly and thoroughly. Parking lot is frustrating when there is an Amazon truck blocking cars and you cannot get out. The food is consistently good. My favorite is the avocado melt. Overall the menu is good. I could eat here any day of the week.
