A shell of what it was from the 70's - 90's. Brick and mortar retail stores in general are closing. I don't know why anyone would still shop there as it feels 1/3 to 2/3 of the stores are still there. They ought to shut it down and repurpose it, like apartments or condos.

My first time here. So many stores and so much to look at.

The only decent stores are JC Penney and Macy. Other than those stores, the mall is deserted and caters to very young generations. Security also seems to be lacking as I avoid the area past sundown as I don't feel safe.

It looks like a ghost town in River Oaks!!!!! I've lived in the area for over 30 years & it definitely doesn't supply the shopping experience from past visits. It's pretty sad that the City hasn't tried to revive the area in and around the mall. The parking lot is horrible with tons of pot holes.

Shopping center is extremely large. After I finally got into the mall and asked a security guard how far was the store I was looking for. The security guard told me it was quite a walk, and she asked me if I needed a wheelchair. When I said yes, she escorted me to an area where I could sit while she escorted my daughter to the security area where she could get a wheelchair. The wheelchair was extremely small (I am a nice size woman) however, I was able to squeeze into it, but it was uncomfortable. I don't know if they have larger wheelchairs. If not they should think about ordering some.

This mall is really run down after all those incidents occurred. It's really sad because it used to be a place where you can find a plethora of things but not so much now...
