Hong Ning is mom's new favorite Filipino restaurant! So we celebrated her birthday with about a dozen family members. Lots of different dishes at reasonable price. Some dishes were tasted and eaten for the first time! All enjoyed the food!
Filipino food is gaining in popularity outside of California, Hawaii, and New York --- it has more of presence in Chicago now. Thank goodness for that because I am still learning how to cook the recipes of my family! When I am in the Chicago area, my family loves to meet at Hong Ning.
