Better than it looks. It's a strip mall Mexican place. North Of The Border is more authentic than most of these. Good prices mostly. The food menu is kind of limited it seems. After seeing this place before, we decided to give it a try the next time around. It's not to be confused with the place of the same name that's in Bartlett. Outdated menu graphics, overly repetitive attention grabbers, outdated and cheap indoor decor...Yes, you're right. It's the perfect place for tacos. Spicy and smooth salsa, abundant and varied sauces that come with their own squirt bottles (3 per table), asada that is well marinated and seasoned, and all served quickly, happily, and yet surprisingly cheaply.I'd go here every single day and twice on Sundays if I lived closer.

This is one of the best places I ever met when I spent some time living in Chicago, I'm Mexican and the taste of the food is pretty loyal to the original taste here in Mexico, the burritos are awesome and the owner make a really really spicy but delicious sauce, made it with "Ghost Chile", great place, nice environment, and wonderful people working there.
