Oh my after bad experience at Cracker barrel in Decatur, NEIL'S made up for the worse service & racial discrimination of Cracker barrel, NEIL'S food is the best, the waitress is the best she gave great suggestion to my husband, waitress was very concerned and nice naturally, when I come for my birthday July 16 I'm bringing my family it will be at least 15 people!!!! See you all again in July

I haven't tasted everything...but pasta is my fav, philly eggs rolls wasn't what I expected, wouldn't get those again. Crab cakes are my second fav. Atmosphere is a vibe at times,good music. Service could be better,witnessed attitude from a employee towards a customer and things she said to her, had a waiter couple times that just wasn't into it. Energy off,but one waiter I had can't remember her name..full of energy and when I see her I will get her name and ask for her,she is the best...think it starts with a R.

This my second visit. I was disappointed with the fried green tomatoes. The first visit a month ago, the tomatoes were nicely cut proportionally. This time, three tomato slices were very thinly slides. They need to invest in a tomato slider to ensure equality. Someone else on my party fried tomatoes were all sliced much better. It was very disappointing. The collard greens were bitter. A very different vibe as compared to my first visit. I will not return again.

So I came into Champaign I'll for work and came across this gym of a soul food restaurant called "Neil St. Blues." The name reminded me of an old TV show called "Hill St. Blues. I know.....I'm telling my age. LolAnyway, when I walked in, I was immediately greeted with a warm smile and couldn't help but fall in love with the atmosphere. Very relaxed and chill. So I ordered lunch and got the burger and a side of Mac and cheese. My food was absolutely delicious! Seasoned well and tasty.In closing, I had a chance to talk with one of the employees (Mike), and he was pretty cool. Even had a history lesson about Jack Daniel's whisky and the original name. Stop in and ask him about that story and tell him BigBen from ST. LOUIS sent you! Cheers!

I Ordered jumbo shrimp dinner, menu said it comes with 2 sides. The bill comes and they charged me extra. The menu said you get two sides but they charged me for one of them!!! Should’ve just said one side to save the trouble. Plus server (Mariah) time was bad! 7 mins for greet and no utensils, didn’t check on us at all. Someone else got us stuff and refills after 20 mins.
