Not sure about what happened to others but I decided my Polish from Der Weinerschnitzel wasn't enough and decided to hit Niros on the way out of town...and am glad I did!!!I love gyros and my gyro days date back to the late 60s and early 70s when Zorbas was it on campus. We got a triple gyro plate and two pieces of baklavas for lunch. The portion of the triple gyro plate was generous! We will get another meal out of it for sure. The pita bread was fresh and soft. And the baklava was always delicious! Nice and friendly service ?Sorry, no photos. We were too hungry ?

I was introduced to Niro's back when they were in Chicago area by my brother. When they lost their location due to progress he talked them into moving to CU. Best thing ever! The food is awesome as is the service. So now when I visit Champaign I have orders to bring back triple gyro plates. Honestly, I have not found better by anyone else.
