The pad Thai was fantastic! The mild had quite a kick and they told me that it would, spicier mild than most places. Best I have had in a long time, and we travel a lot. My husband said his dish was excellent also! He order his Thai hot and said finally he got somewhere that really makes it HOT! Very clean restaurant and such nice people working, they were so friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back, highly recommend!

I always receive good service from this place. The mom is always friendly and she'll come out and conversate with you she's so pleasant. I love how they'll ask what level of spice I asked for spicy and said yeah I can handle it I love their rice I just added extra egg in my rice when I get home. They used to have a sauce that they would give you with your rice I haven't gotten any but I wish I knew the name of the sauce they used to give you

Best Thai food in town, hands down! Always excellent, I never have any complaints. The outside of the building is very unassuming, but don't let that stop you.

Fried Calamari is absolute chewy garbage. Thai tea is ok but insane for 5.99Had Drunken Noodles, Rad Na, Pad Prig Fish.Close to Authentic but absolutely not worth the price for the atmosphere and service.Tiny crowded janky restaurant.Slow Service.

Way overpriced for a "college town" restaurant, plus portions were only about avg size at best. I'd say the avg dish price + tip is min 25. Not worth it. I will not be back again. And prepared to pay with cash unless u wanna pay additional 3% cc fee. AND i guess a party of 5 means automatic 18% gratuity! WTF?!?!?!

I was told they can literally make any dish gluten free--just let them know and they'll use a different sauce. They were knowledgeable about what does and doesn't contain wheat and interceded when I was about to order the wide flat noodles with no clue they're made of wheat! Truth be told, I haven't even got my order yet, but that service alone warrants a 5 star from me! Excellent!! I'll be back next time I'm in Chambana!

Incredible food and prompt service. This was my favorite place to go with my father for meals, and I believe it is his favorite. I'm always afraid it will go out of business since it's so out of the way. Definitely worth the visits.

After picking my daughter up at the train station in Bloomington, we stopped in for dinner before heading home to Indiana. We had fresh spring rolls and Thai dumplings to start, followed by Sweet and Sour Chicken and Pad See Eiw. Everything was delicious, hot, and fresh. The staff were friendly, fast and just the right amount of attentiveness. We even got Som Tom and Mango with Sticky Rice to go. As a fellow Thai, I give Thara Thai two thumbs up and five stars! ????⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went there on 24th Dec at 3pm. Almost closing time. They accomodated us which we are thankful for. Food was good. Satay chicken wasn't as good as other food though.Prices are higher but portions are larger too. We shared our dishes and still had some to go.
