Pete makes an amazing blue cheese dirty martini. I’m very particular about my martinis and he overdelivered. So the food. They have created an environment where bar meets fine dining. The presentation, the taste…impeccable. We had the hummus and garlic parm wings…they did not disappoint. Then the presentation for the burger with their logo stamped in the bun was the finishing touch. Definitely in our top ten across the country.“

“This is one of our go to spots. Can't believe I haven't heard of it sooner since we've lived a little North of union bar for over 10 years. Aside from me loving the memorabilia since I was a union electrician, the food snaps. Literally everything I've eaten there is awesome. My number one is the steak sandwich, followed by the mother clucker, and then the MAC burger. I do wish they still did the monthly burger specials because those were really fun to try. I try to avoid fries in general, but these were so good I couldn't help myself. “This place is tops!!! Absolutely great food in a hole in the wall bar. It has a "bar" vibe, but don't let that dissuade you. We will even bring our kids here during the day. My favorite item is the flame burger, made as a chicken sandwich (you can substitute chicken for burger), with fries and ranch. Would often come here for date nights and would also get carry out anytime I was in the area. It's just delicious food. They will also do some seasonal cocktails, which are fun to try, and always have good prices.“

“Yes, it's a bar, but they also serve decent food (at a reasonable price), which is why I go there. The menu changes, so call ahead. Some days, they have meatloaf, breaded pork chops, turkey dinner, roast pork, burgers, steak sandwiches, etc. Basically, American Diner food in a casual relaxed atmosphere. The specials come with mashed potatoes n gravy, a vegetable, and sometimes apple sauce. I wasn't crazy about the turkey, but the meatloaf is good with a baked ketchup top, a great homemade flavor (and it's a large portion). The breaded pork chops are my favorite, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I wish they served them on more days. The steak sandwich is great on some days, but sometimes the steak is kinda chewy. But for the price it's all great! Tip your server generously. She takes care of the bar and the tables, so be patient. The bathrooms are kept very clean and this place is CASH ONLY. Lunch is the best, they open at 11 am and there is a lot around back.“
