This is my favorite neighborhood sports bar. Surrounded by high end restaurants, hotels and residents and just steps away off Michigan Ave. There's is nothing fancy here, just good old bar food done right. Large crispy wings, nachos with choices of pull pork, brisket and chicken, I love the pickled jalapenos, green onions and tomatoes instead of pico, BBQ instead of salsa, love it. This place is as advertised (which is how I try to assess anything that I review) - a sports bar that feels like the sports bars of old and is reasonably priced. Nothing fancy or pretentious about it (which seems to be harder to find these days). Don't come here looking for some elevated gastro-bar with European flair or anything like that - it's not that kind of party. Great selection, loved the appetizers and beer selection. Waiter was super awesome, he was energetic positive and helped us with suggestions for tourists like we were to have a great Chicago experience. Almost dared to do their wing challenge but didn't, when we got our food asked the waiter for some hot sauce he brought me some of the sauce used on the wing challenge super spicy, but great flavor.
