Mario C is THE BEST waiter! Gave great suggestions that were spot on for Prosecco...2 different bottles and each was a perfect companion to our lunches. Also, good beer selection and cocktail. We finally got a Monteverde reservation after trying for about 6 months, and it was well worth the wait! Our waiter Mario was exceptional, very knowledgeable and friendly, while giving us great recommendations and attention! My partner and I had the arancini, Oma’s salad, Shrimp Linguini, and Caccio, with tiramisu for dessert! Wonderful atmosphere, excellent food, and lovely service!

My wife and I drove in from MKE to visit relatives for the weekend and they started our weekend off with an afternoon lunch at Monteverde. It was an experience worth the month and a half wait for our reservation date. The food is delicious, the flavors bold but not overpowering. It seemed the restaurant gave off its own energy.
