Edit: Removing a star because for the past few orders I have received old fries.Got the 4pc dark and a side of hush puppies. The chicken was delicious; flavorful, juicy, and freshly made. I was actually given enough mild sauce for my chicken and fries that I didn't need to order extra. Hush puppies were decent, nothing too special. Now I'm from Texas born and raised and moved to Chicago less than 6 months at the time of writing this and let me tell you... THEY DID WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. I was craving catfish and didn't feel like cooking and they reminded me of the restaurants down south with the full body of flavor for each piece of fish, each french fry and each hushpuppy I tore up. Deeeeelicious fried chicken! Got takeout here and was not disappointed! My recommendations: 1) 1/2 dark 1/2 white fried chicken: crispy, tasty, and not greasy! You know how sometimes fried chicken is glistening with grease? Not the case here. 2) Deep fried corn on the cob: This was incredible. I've never had battered and deep fried corn before.
