I give TJ the man working the drive thru an A+!!!! He is always so friendly and nice when I go there! I’m glad we still have a Steak ‘n Shake in the area. I wish it was still open all night. I love their shakes and it doesn’t take long to get my orders.
The nostalgia from Steak and Shake is basically nonexistent and feels cold and hollow now compared to only 5 or 6 years ago across all of its locations but this is one of the locations that shine. This place is clean inside and out, fairly maintained. A few good food menu options though most of the ones I know are gone. Good burgers and fries especially. Fairly clean restrooms and never too long for waiting for food to be made.

Burgers and shakes are excellent. Asking me for a tip when I'm at a self service kiosk is a little bold considering I place the order, retrieve the food when my name is called, and clean up when I'm done. Feel like I should get the tip! The place wasn't very clean but it's not going to stop my tradition of getting a burger and shake when I go to an event in St Louis.
