“Visited as part of a Harvest Host stay. Very friendly staff at a convenient and scenic location. Many delicious wines but they have much more available than just wine.”
“I know it's not Dairy Queen's fault, but it is so frustrating that they don't have the thin mint blizzard. I've only been able to find it once. ? Anyway. The cashier was wonderful and the oreo blizzard hits the spot when it's 90+ degrees out.”
“Review: I stumbled upon Maria's Pizza during a road trip through Colona, IL, and I'm so glad I did! This place is a true hidden gem. The Chicken Parmesan sandwich was absolutely divine - the flavors were perfectly balanced, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. I also tried the chicken strips, and let me tell you, they were to die for! But the real star of the show was the deep dish pizza. Let me be clear: do not sleep on this. The crust was crispy yet fluffy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It's the kind of pizza that makes you wonder why you ever settled for anything less. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Maria's Pizza is definitely a must-visit if you're in the area. I can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious offerings!”
“A nice little hidden place for some Chinese food. The food is as good as you would expect, however the portions are very large. ^_^ I ordered the beef with fresh mushrooms, steamed dumplings and a can pepsi. I have more than enough left overs for dinner tonight.Parking: Not many spots to park in the area from what I was able to see but a decent bit of street parking and a few parking spots.”
“The Grease Monkey is a great place to have a drink, enjoy delicious food, and share some good times with friends and family. Everything I have eaten has been delicious and I always get great service. When the weather is warm it's a great place to enjoy being outside on their huge patio and to catch a local band outside.Kid-friendliness: The main dining area isn't that big so it can sometimes be tough to find a table and it can get kinda hectic but the menu has lots of items for kids and the wait staff is always very friendly to families.”
“First time eating at this subway. Gave food a 3 star only because there was barely any meat or veggies on the two footlongs we ordered. More bread than anything. Had coupons for buying 2 at $12.99 but was told we couldn't use on the chicken sandwiches we ordered. Was a bit surprised by that as all other subways always allow us to use our coupons on the chicken, just not on specialty sandwiches. Other than this, everything else was fine. I now wish I had taken a picture to show that the sandwiches were more bread than anything else.Had they been like other sandwiches made at other subways, we visit. I would have given a 5 star all the way around and been able to use my coupon.”
“Excellent Sicilian pizza!Service is great!Atmosphere is just ok. It's a small spot in a commercial strip. Usually very busy on Friday and Saturday evenings with limited parking. Still worth it. Great pizzas!”
“Love everything about this little gem restaurant in the QCA. Food was beautifully presented and delish. The coffee and the rest of the drinks were fabulous. Feels like an urban cafe in downtown Chicago.”
“The food was excellent. Was hoping to eat inside but they had no dine in. The service and food were awesome I recommend this to anyone who loves authentic Mexican food. The prices were lower than most places in the Quad Cities which is a win win for everyone.”
“Went for dinner for the first time with a bunch of guys from the neighborhood and everything was outstanding! Not a huge fan of buffet style chip and salsa but it was all feash and had great flavors. Everyone enjoyes what they had!”
“The setting was 1980s theme with TVs n 1 big screen. It had about 20 tables for dining. Weekly drawing fun for locals. I just went out for a drive and discovered this place.”
“Better than your average Mexican Food. I don't know how anyone could leave a bad review unless they hate everyone and everything. The food taste and quality is definitely superior to other Mexican restaurants. Located in one of the cutest towns too! I highly recommend the taco, burritos, margaritas of course & the fajitas!”
“Always great food and service. I forget our waitresses name but she was great!! My family and I have been coming here for years. Yummy pies and wonderful breakfast platters.”
“My husband and I finally got to check out this coffee shop! It was absolutely amazing. I had an amazing service experience. I wish I could remember the individual who helped me, but I have forgotten their name. I ordered the Iced Leroy and my husband ordered the mailman frappe. Both were fantastic. Mine had peanut butter mocha and banana. The banana flavor was not overwhelming which I figured it would be. It was the perfect mix! We also got a cinnamon roll. It was so good and served just slightly warm. The only downside is I wish it were just a bit warmer and it would be absolutely fantastic! Don’t miss out on this coffee shop. Shop small and local!! 10/10 recommend!!”
“Hidden Gem! Super affordable and very good. Appears to be a small family owned place that has killer breakfast food for sure. Need to come back and try lunch too. Breakfast for two with drinks under $20, plus tip!”
“Why do they call it whiteys I always want to take my friend here but becuase its called whitey I'm afraid somebody might try an serve him chocolate instead of vanilla cause he brown”
“This is my husband and I’s go to place. I would give more stars if I could. It is so welcoming and feels like you are going to hang out at a good friend’s home. HIGHLY recommend.”
“Every time we get Thai Town it gets better, though it always was great to begin with! The meat and vegetables are always fresh and of great quality. The spice is perfectly on point. I've always been a red curry with chicken kind of person but I've even ventured outside my normal order because the TV they have behind the register shows dishes that look too good to pass up. We have family that lives in Port Byron and I try to get Thai Town every time we're up that way. I will not go to any other Thai restaurant in the Quad Cities in the future because none of them come close to the quality of Thai Town.”
“I visit this place a lot since I work nearby. I must say the customer service is always great and they keep the spot neat all the time. Pricing is affordable and they serve generous portions.”
“Went here twice with a group of friends over the St. Patrick's Day weekend and was very impressed with the atmosphere and service. The bartenders did a phenomenal job keeping up with requests of the many people that were coming in and were very attentive to all guests. Music was great, drinks were fantastic, and the vibe was hard to beat. Plenty of places to sit or stand between the upstairs area, the main floor, and the outdoor patio. Even the owner was present and mingling amongst guests and making sure that the staff had everything they needed. Of the bars we went to in the QCA, this bar was top notch. I WILL be back!”
“Frank's have been a staple in the area as long as I can remember, great food, fair prices, and good waitstaff, carryout options as well!! Family friendly. Menu has something for everyone!! Have cash on hand as they no longer accept credit.”
“This place was a hole in the wall, the bar tender and people drinking were friendly, pool table in back, patio outside for smokers. Right across from Factory of Fear”
“The few times we've been in there the food and the service is always been good. You just have to go in there in the odd hours so it's not as busy very popular place. Understandable”
“Very cute coffee show about 8 minutes from Rock Island, IL. Here for work and Starbucks or hotel coffee isn't my thing. Really liked the vibe of this place, coffee was good, chicken wrap was good and view was great. Seattle vibes in Moline.”
“The food is fantastic! Everything my family has ever ordered is delicious. I highly recommend a smash burger!Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available for little ones and they have a kids section on the menu.”
“We had a great experience at Duck Creek Pancake House. Our server was a very friendly and attentive young man. He genuinely seemed to enjoy his job and was great at it! Our breakfast was ready super fast and everything about it was delicious and perfectly prepared.”
“They were under staffed so service was only 3 stars. This review is for Inferno's. Food was good but not exactly as described. Never had a panzanella without bread before. Reasonably priced as ”
“Stopped by recently with a small herd of family. We shared the baked brie and the pelican's nest, both were yummy. I had the grilled cheese sandwich (very good, I was worried about the Bourbon aioli being too strong, but it was subdued) with the (not heavily) loaded mashed potatoes. Dessert was a pair of subtly orange crepes. Service was good, one of my cousins recognized our waiter from a previous position of his at another local restaurant.”
“We have always enjoyed getting take out and have now been eating at the new buffet at least once a week! So good! Service is quick and friendly, food is always being brought out fresh and their sushi always seems to be popular! We have been there when it’s super packed and they have all hands on deck to keep up! Good job to their team! We appreciate you!”
“Amazing pizza! So glad we made the trip!! Very comfortable atmosphere!! Patrons were friendly as well as the staff!!! The owner came to say hey. We will be back!! I recommend this place to anyone who is wanting a good pizza..”
