“This is a very unique little bar. The owners are Brenda and Sue and they are great gals. You will never be bored at this place, if you want to have a great time, I suggest you visit.”
“Traveling through Quad City area, we stopped here for lunch and would definitely come back. The food was fresh, hot, and flavorful. I had the hot roast beef sandwich and the meat was tender with no fat. The gravy was delicious, it was not salty and had good beef flavor. My partner had a bacon burger and fries and the fries were so fresh - they came right from the fryer - HOT. The burger was good, too. After reading reviews we decided to have a slice of pie - chose pumpkin - and definitely a “made from scratch” pie. Great flavor, maybe the best I’ve had in awhile. The crust was disappointing though. Bland, calories without any flavor. We would definitely stop here again.”
“Better than your average Mexican Food. I don't know how anyone could leave a bad review unless they hate everyone and everything. The food taste and quality is definitely superior to other Mexican restaurants. Located in one of the cutest towns too! I highly recommend the taco, burritos, margaritas of course & the fajitas!”
“Every time we get Thai Town it gets better, though it always was great to begin with! The meat and vegetables are always fresh and of great quality. The spice is perfectly on point. I've always been a red curry with chicken kind of person but I've even ventured outside my normal order because the TV they have behind the register shows dishes that look too good to pass up. We have family that lives in Port Byron and I try to get Thai Town every time we're up that way. I will not go to any other Thai restaurant in the Quad Cities in the future because none of them come close to the quality of Thai Town.”
“Didn't have food but woulda gave it a 5 as well...best place in QC for everything!!!.. Ashley n Christine are the best ! Donnie n Lynn are the greatest owners, people and friends. They know what it's like to be real n how to treat you.. love you! ❤️”
“Very nice place, little out of the way from main st, but worth the short walk. Cup cakes and chesse cake is the best around. We had the oreo cheese cake. It is a must stop.”
“Hidden Gem! Super affordable and very good. Appears to be a small family owned place that has killer breakfast food for sure. Need to come back and try lunch too. Breakfast for two with drinks under $20, plus tip!”
“Nice brewery. Great view of the Mississippi River. There were 4 of us. Each had a different taste of beer ? We were very happy with the choice of beers ? to pick from. Employees were very helpful, and the brewery was very clean. Definitely, we go back.”
“These cookies are so good! We’ve always gone to crumbl just because that was the chain we were familiar with. Decided to try this place instead and holy cow, so glad we did. They were all so good! We’ll be coming here from now on for sure.”
“The historic house provided a wonderful atmosphere and a great view of the Mississippi below. Ordered cocktails, salmon, turkey dinner, and chocolate chip cookie with ice cream dessert. Everything was delicious! They had local spirits from Mississippi River Distilling. I ate just the right amount of food. As a garlic lover, the garlic salad was awesome! My husband could have eaten more, but was satisfied with the quality of food.Vegetarian options: The entire menu is limited (but good). They offer vegetarian pasta and salads”
“After hearing such good things about Lucky Frog, I recently hired them to cater back to back events. The catered dinner for 100 golfers, and turned around two days later and catered 100 for our grad party. I can't say enough good things, service was great, prices were great, food was delicious and plentiful. They do not skimp on servings! Pulled chicken and pork sandwiches are probably the best I've had. Great bbq sauces, they gave us a choice of four I think. Very good pasta salad. And I'm guessing the pounds of pickles were homemade. They're addictive! The owner was even so kind as to help my husband hang a grad banner. Try the Lucky Frog for your next. event.”
“Always worth the 45 min drive. Great food, employees, and owners. Congratulations on your 1 year anniversary!!!!Kid-friendliness: Kids are able to draw pictures and have a good time themselves even for a bar and grill environment.”
“Le Claire is a really cute town but I couldn't decide what to grab for lunch. Settle on this for a burger based on other reviews but to be honest I wasn't confident when I drove up. The place is clean and nice (for a place that has a pool table as you walk in. There was only one person working most of the time but dang she was on it! Food was hot and tasty. She cooked and served. Eventually a server showed up. I was surprised to see lots more women having lunch here than guys having a couple of beers. Am sure the crowd varies by time of day but lunch was definitely different than expected. There are a couple of tables outside, front and back. The view of the river is nice and there are big TVs for watching ball. Tables as well as a bar area inside.”
“Absolutely amazing coffee shop. The place is small and cute and the drink I got was absolutely amazing! It was my first time visiting but it definitely won't be my last. Big thanks to Ivy for being patient with me since I wasn't really sure what to get. I'm a little indecisive....haha. She was so sweet and super helpful. Next time, I'll try her suggested drink of Buffalo Bill's Butterscotch Latte but this time I wanted something with peanut butter and s'mores so she recommended I get the Cowboy Campfire with peanut butter syrup added to it. It was absolutely delicious! If you see negative reviews about this place, they are wrong.....I dealt with 3 different people (Ivy, Kira and Lillie) and they were all just the sweetest. Definitely go check this place out!”
“The service is fast, and the owners and staff are exceptional. The espresso is a little watered down or not as full flavor as I like, but when a quick latte is in order, the drive through is great.”
“Was desperately looking for food with a drive-through since I have three small children. Stumbled upon this place and was very very happy. I got a sausage breakfast burrito, a blueberry muffin, and a protein shake which was good in size. My total was $12.25 so I was very happy about that as well. The protein shake was the KTM protein shake which is banana peanut butter and honey and it was delicious. We'll definitely be returning as often as I possibly can. Only wish it was closer to my house.”
“Live music, fun special menus, river view, and a great bar. Tried this place for a girls night and keep coming back. Short drive from the quad cities & totally worth it.”
“It was our first time here while visiting Clinton. What an awesome find! It's a wonderful authentic Japanese dining experience, we will definitely come back again!”
“Hands down best Taco pizza we have eaten in our lives! I mean Happy Joe's is really good, don't get me wrong. But this will beat them 10x more! If we order taco pizza this is the place for life lol!”
“Went to go to Duck Creek Pancake house but since they overlooked us and didn't seat us we came here! Prices were a little higher but it was very good food! We will be back!”
“I went here in 2023 when I was in town for a tournament. They had a few vegan options and the food was great. I came back in January 2024 and they don't have the tofu anymore, but they have a rice and black bean bowl which was really good. The person working there said that they normally keep some tofu on hand, but it wasn't fresh when I came.”
“Pancakes were excellent. Service and food was very quick. Eggs cooked perfectly. Corned beef hash was not house made but still great and cooked slightly crispy how I like it. Very glad I stopped in while here for work. Will be back !”
“This place is incredible! If you ever get the opportunity stop and experience what a real hometown diner feels like. Wonderful food, attentive service, live entertainment (if you consider locals enjoying a meal with their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren wholesome and entertaining (which I do))! This place reminds me of the restaurant my grandmother worked at in the Appalachian foothills of Ohio! I am very grateful that places like this still exist! Like my grandma used to say, "if you leave without a full belly it is your own fault!". Large portions, delicious home style flavors, and small town american culture! I love this place, and I am sure you will too!”
“Awesome food, pricey for the area but worth it as a treat. Even on a busy weekend with a small wait to be seated we still managed to be in and out within an hour. Service is slow (taking orders and getting drinks) but food comes out fast once ordered.”
“Stopped in for dinner and a drink. Food was excellent, the pulled pork nachos were really good. Staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely on the list to stop in again.”
“It doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that deter you. The chef knows how to cook! I was almost seduced by the Station 4 Burger which promised a lot of heat, but decided to go with their famous Tug Burger instead. And it was really good. Burger patty tastes hand-made and fresh. Onion rings were the best I have had in recent memory. And the cheese fries are to die for.Service was fast and friendly despite a bit of a crowd.”
“The appetizers were kind of pricey but the mound of nachos made up for it that and the waitress we had I think her name is Chelsea was the most polite and smiled instead of acting as if she were bothered. Thanks again Chelsea!”
“Some of the best food I've had around here, the burgers were fresh and hot when it got to my table. The fries were the most crunchy and perfectly cooked. The only problems I had were: I didn't have room to eat it all and not very many seats. The food was great though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Little tight but it'll fit”
“We really enjoyed the restaurant. The food was amazing. I forgot to take pictures. But we will be going back. My husband’s burger was perfectly cooked with a balanced out cheese and mushroom ratio on a deliciously toasted bun. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. The chicken was juicy and not chewy at all. The bun was toasted and buttery did not need sauce the flavor was awesome! I had onion rings and they were so good! The kids had a cheeseburger all the way with fries. And chicken tenders with fries and a ranch sauce. My daughter doesn’t like ranch but she liked theirs! Great flavors and great service! We will be going back!”
“I love the staff they are so friendly and easy to talk to. The food is great and the service always has a smile. I would drive through road work all day just to eat lunch here!”
