Grew up down the street from here. Never had them much and haven’t had them for a while. Wanted Mexican food so I went in and ordered. They have a great menu. Got chips, guac, salsa, a burrito and some quesadillas. Everything was great. Will be back.
We LOVE Carlos River Cafe! Delicious food and fast service. Pro tip—their breakfast entrees are delicious but it’s BYOC—Bring Your Own Coffee. Prices are low! We come for the food and we stay for the decor and cheerful service! Enjoy the authentic Mexican music and immersive ambiance! They make their own chips and three salsa. The food was great, speedy service, friendly staff. I believe it was the two owners working. The husband cooking and the wife was our server. My only complaint is it was really cold in there. We will definitely be back!!!!
