The food is good, hard to mess up a Chicago dog but there are some places that do. They've got everything you could want. Location is bright and clean. Staff are helpful. The Crystal Lake Tommy's is the location you're going to want to visit. The McHenry location is dreary and the staff can occasionally be unprofessional.

Food was ok, nothing special. Have stopped in a few times with the family hoping it would improve but still just ok. Regular fries and waffle fries were not that great, again. And again, we didn't finish them. Fries needed a lot of ketchup. I like to give a local place business but unless something changes we'll drive farther to get some lunch.
