I am 100% Puerto Rican and I prefer this Mexican Coco Loco restaurant over the Puerto Rican Jibarito Time next door to it. Last time I went to Jibarito the food was way too salty and not as great as Coco Loco. I'd much rather go to Coco Loco Mexican again. I got their shrimp cocktail and their coconut lemonade. It was delicous. The only downside is thT is a very small place. So if you plan on going with a group larger than 5 on a weekend, it will be hard to find a seat.

My new favorite restaurant! I'm originally from Southern California, and grew up eating Baja-style seafood. That said, this place is amazing! Highly recommended. Big portions for the price. Their green salsa is top-notch, as well. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!
