Stopped in for a quick lunch while running errands. It's a small hole in a wall that I didn't know existed until I heard they sold the creme nd crumbs sylvanas. I figured I could pick some up while here and grab some lunch. Unfortunately there were no sylvanas when I went but stayed anyway to have some lunch. This is my first time trying Cid's Ma Mon Luk and I think it's pretty decent! I like that you can call and order ahead for dine in, most restaurants don't do that so it's nice that they were able to prepare our food before we came in. The lady that works at the front desk was super friendly and nice. This restaurant is one of the best Filipino restaurants in the northern suburb of chicago. The food is always fresh and authentic. Only, the restaurant is soooo small. You feel like the staff is on top of you - staring at you. We mostly do take-out from this restaurant, but even with take-out, food is always good.
