I moved out of the area several years ago, but had to get a burrito while in town. It was as wonderful as I remember it! We even got to try the new birria they are serving. It was so tender and flavorful. Definitely worth the stop!
Their new item, Quesa Birria, arrived in three pieces. Because of the excess cheese, the tortillas have a wonderful crispy edge. The delicate and flavorful pulled meat is lovely. The freshly chopped onions and cilantro on the side added a nice touch of flavor and color. The dish came with a cup of dipping sauce; it is quite crimson in color and has an oily surface, but it tastes really good and is slightly savory with a lovely kick of spice.

I usually get the birria tacos and they are the best I've had. today I had their Barbacoa and they take the same time and care to flavor this also. Best barbacoa I've had in 20 years. fyi I grew up on Nuevo Leon.
