Combo I wanted wasn't available & there was a substitute which was ok, but not the succulence I had become accustomed to. There dilemma I suspect is like many businesses, not enough staff. Staff they do have are amiable and pleasant to deal with when asked questions. I travel quite a distance STL - Illinois because when I find a place with good food I return. So I will visit again to see if I can give 5 Stars in all categories esp. when it comes to Good Eats ?

I've never lived in IL but I do work in IL and have been around this area all my life. I used to eat at Big Mama's when they had a Belleville location and we carry out from the Washington Park location every now and then. Today I ordered the Snoot Tip Combo with spicy sauce. It's a full snoot and 1/2 lb of tips on top of two slices of white bread. The sauce is basically Maull's BBQ but spicier. It doesn't get more St. Louis than this folks!
