“This place is on my list of top 5 favorite dive bars. When you walk in there's a room to the right that has pool tables, darts and giant checkers! Then just when I thought it couldn't get any better. A band started jamming and they sounded incredible! The glass wall in between us created the perfect amount of sound. We ordered pizza and it was hot and delicious. Our bartenders were friendly and attentive.“
“Stopped in for lunch, though me and a coworker were the only guests we felt very comfortable and the bartender/waitress was very friendly. While the menu is not very large I asked if they had lengua, they did not. But the bartender offered a dish that was made for the staff, she called it Trumpbo? Translates to mouth of pig? Im sure im butchering this.. but my GOD.. it was some of the most delicious tender pork I have ever had. Not gamey/barnyard at all. Prepared just excellent.. can't describe it well enough do it justice. Their chef is a master.. if your lucky enough ask for it next time your in, they dont have it all the time but hopefully you can get lucky and enjoy what the cook/staff enjoy.. i felt very fortunate to be able to enjoy this treat from the kitchen. “A good spot for lunch with awesome service and atmosphere. Music is on point even when it is slow. Food is fine. Burger is better than fast food and decent for the price point. Come for a beer and burger, but temper expectations. Good for the demo graphic.Parking: not bad parking but only about a dozen spots. Really good handicap parking though.Kid-friendliness: Good for the family but in a commercial area. A nice little sanctuary for a family trendily meal that dad will love too. Nice for the area“
“It was such a tasty lunch! We were here for the 1st time and nice lady at the register helped us out with choosing a burger. I won’t be able to eat a whole, so we asked about just 1 but cut in half + fries side and coleslaw. You should definitely try their sauces with fries!! It tastes something like a thousand islands sauce, but I think they make their own from scratch. Overall this portion fed us 2 (me and my boyfriend) fully!! Great place, will be coming back!“
“I dont know how anyone can give this place less than 5stars. Amy was our server she was excellent but the food was large portions and very good. Best breaded pork tenderloin out there. Very clean and kept up. Everyone was friendly. 9 people and our bill was less than $200. Before tip. We are all in the business so we way over tip.This is a new restaurant i hope you all dont ruin it with your picky reviews, some of you are clueless about running a restaurant or how to eat at one. “Returned yesterday for drinks and wings. Always a pleasant experience until yesterday. Terrible service from Amber. First she brought the wrong beer. Instead of trying to make it right, she made no effort. I ordered fish and chips this time . Very greasy fish patties. My friend ordered wings. After 15 or more minutes of waiting, I had to ask the bartender for utensils and napkins. My friend requested additional blue cheese to go on two occasions. Never arrived. She smiled and appeared friendly. Maybe she was having a bad day. Regardless, we left her an appropriate tip for bad service.“
“My favorite place since 25 years ago. They just get better and better. My kids were little at the time and now they are grown they still remember and when they come to Chicago they want big Sammy’s. Everything is delicious esp gyros but I got my fav fish sandwich. It’s sooooo goood. So fresh. Great customer service too. Love this place and the guys that work here. “Yummy! I was on a quest to find a true chicago style hotdog i and this place delivered! I always forget to take a picture before digging in! The hotdog was spot on! It was my first time there, so I ordered a cheeseburger and cheese fries to test out too! Everything was absolutely delicious! The owner was super nice and cool! Definitely be back for more!“
