The staff was attentive and kind. planning the event with Grace was such a pleasure. She was flexible and accommodating and made everything so easy for us. I like to order via the app and there's always a little something off with my sandwich (i.e. I order extra onions and somehow get no onions at all). Otherwise, the sandwiches are good and my order is usually ready when I get there.“

“I have been to Bat 17 numerous times over the years, and I always really enjoy it. They have solid vegetarian options, and the rest of their food is equally good. Their outside seating section is a big hit in the warm weather, but the indoors is just as nice. The servers in my experience have always been kind and helpful which is much appreciated! I feel like it is hard to find a good sandwhich or burger nowadays, but Bat 17 does the basics very well.“

I like that I have many options to choose from since I eat here frequently. And it helps my budget stay in control here in Evanston.“
“We tried a couple of sandwiches from this spot! It was interesting to see the limited open hours as the reviews rave about their sandwiches. They have a small menu of sandwiches, salads and refreshments which makes it an ideal location for a local lunch spot if you have flexibility with open hours. We tried the Singapore Tikka and the Sesame chili tuna sandwich which didn't take long to receive. The tuna sandwich with the chili oil and banh mi toppings was really good. They asked if we wanted it to be spicy but I didn't taste anything spicy about the sandwich but the flavors were well put together. I wasn't a fan of the tikka sandwich which needs maybe the tikka sauce to bring the ingredients together.“
