“Brilliant! This is exactly the kind of dining experience our family has been seeking. We enjoyed it so much that we went twice in one week. The staff is amazingly friendly and kind, and we love watching them prep and make pizzas. The menu is full of great options, and there is always a daily special written on the wall. Speaking of walls, it is a chalkboard masterpiece! We spent our waiting time listening to music from the record player while drawing randomly on the walls with chalk. So cool! We've had garlic bread and and various pizzas. The crust is a perfect balance of crisp and fluff, and the flavors are so fulfilling. Drinks are mostly served in cans or bottles, and there is a water dispenser for easy free refills in the dining area.Vegetarian options: Their pizzas are fabulous, and I love the variety of meat-free options. The spinach and artichoke pizza (add Kalamata olives) is my fave!Parking: There is some street parking available, but this is a busy section of shops. I recommend going a block west or south and using the free parking lots available. You cam also park along Main Street and walk a block.Kid-friendliness: From flexible menu options to chalkboard walls, this is a fun and family-friendly space!Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is a single level right off of the sidewalk with one doorway. The dining area is spacious with various chair-height table options. Bathrooms are also spacious.”
“In summary: Typical bar grill atmosphere with better than normal food and an excellent server.Food I sampled: rueben tacos (5 stars), cajun pork and rice (my meal; 4.5 stars rice was a bit bland but they had soy sauce), fried mushrooms ( 4 stars), provolone cheese logs( 3.5 stars needs better dipping options) and fries (5 stars great large cut with crumble fries)”

“Go for the fabulous lunch buffet and stay for the friendly atmosphere! This restaurant is a true gem, and the food is always fresh and flavorful. We love to go to the lunch buffet, but there is a regular menu available, too. Try soups, meats, noodles, kimchi, and more!I also love the dessert and, surprisingly, fried chicken on the buffet!Parking: There is free street parking available along Main Street and in a number of lots around town.Wheelchair accessibility: Single-level restaurant right off the sidewalk. Single door entryway and open floorplan for maneuvering. Most tables are chair-height.”
“First time ever eating here and I am super impressed with the menu, atmosphere, and staff! Love how you walk in and are automatically transformed into a whole different era and time. Lots of old knick Knacks, comfortable seating, quick service. Lots and lots of history here. I highly recommend the Coney Dog!”
“The artwork outside the restaurant is stunning and the ambience inside is really unique. The staff are warm and very friendly. We order a bowl of pho and a chicken hibachi. Both were exceptional! The quantity is great for sharing. We also ordered a tarot milk tea which was good, but super sweet. The coolest part was a kitty robot who delivered our drinks. My 3 year old was obsessed watching it drive around the dining room. We can’t wait to come back!”

“This is a new favorite lunch spot. I've enjoyed the shrimp poboy and a catfish dinner, and the flavors were really nice and authentic (having moved to Illinois from the south, I applaud their chef). The team is friendly, and the food is always delicious. I especially love the chips!Parking: There is street parking all along Main Street, and it's usually not full. There are also a number of free parking lots throughout the downtown area, within a block of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: There are two glass doors to enter through, but the ground is level and smooth.”
“Picked up a couple tenderloins for Lunch. They've always been tasty here. I like the old dinner atmosphere. Service & prices are good. I need to stop here more often.”

“I love this little place. Sometimes the drinks can be a little sweet, depending on what you get. But, you can always request to have it less sweet if need be. The people working here are so nice and the atmosphere is super cool and cozy. I love going here for my lunches. They get things done quick. ✨️⌛️Vegetarian options: Their pastries are super yummy. They also have fruit and different kinds of soups! ? ?Dietary restrictions: They have non-dairy milk options for your coffee. I've noticed that not every coffee place does here in Galesburg. It makes me feel included. ✨️?”
“I love all the gluten free options here! The spinach bisque is divine, so luscious and creamy. I tried the crispy polenta stack and it did not disappoint. And who can resist a crepe for dessert?”

“I wasn't expecting much from a drive-thru coffee shack but I was totally impressed with their drinks! I had a long day ahead of me so I got both a flavored latté and one of their energy drinks. Both were insanely delicious and got me through my day!The staff was also extremely nice and courteous and gave my dog a pup cup! I like that both sides of the shop are open to patrons so that traffic can come from either direction. There's also a giant QR code on the side of the building so you can check out the menu before you get to the ordering window. Brilliant!”
“I am always searching for a fun treat for our vegan friends and it was so nice to be able to delight them!! They said the flavor was wonderful and the consistency was excellent!I have dietary restrictions, so it was a huge and delicious treat for me as well!I drove from Quad Cities and I will do it again. Thanks, SS!!”

“Judy's is a casual breakfast spot that isn't much to look at but has such a welcoming atmosphere and absolutely delicious food! Plus, the staff and Judy herself are the sweetest - we enjoy coming in for chitchat alongside our breakfasts. Highly recommend any of the omelettes, and they come with toast and a ton of hashbrowns. The skillets are also pretty great and you can't go wrong with their pancakes. Only downside is that you aren't able to order any mimosas as they do not offer alcohol.”
“Surprisingly great. We've eaten at some great Mexican restaurants in Los Angeles and New York City and this place is incredible. Who would have thought a great Mexican restaurant would turn up in Indiana? Don't miss the cocktails.”
“Had the brisket sandwich with fries and beans. Very juicy brisket, crispy and tasty fries. Mildly annoying that you have to buy your food and drinks separate but the drinks are good and cheap. Will be going again ”

“1st trip to Pz's. There were 4 of us. The petite Filet was excellent, the baked sweet potato was so good. The place was clean & looked freshly painted. The couple we were with had the prime rib & the Walleye. We will definitely go back soon.”

“We visited this place on Sunday afternoon with some friends. This was our first time. You pay as you enter and we each got the buffet. Lots of choices on the salad bar, lots of choices for pizza, bread sticks and cheese bread and then there was the best fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, biscuits, green beans and corn. Additionally, they had a dessert bar with several types of fruit pizzas and ice cream. We did not go away hungry! The service was plentiful and the staff was super friendly. If we lived in the area, this would be one of our regulars......for sure!”
“I had never been here, so I was looking forward to meeting friends for Christmas lunch. As they say, "variety is the spice of life", and there was definitely plenty of variety! One thing I'd never had before was peanut butter chicken. I'll be going back for that!!!”
“The kids loved being able to watch basketball, football, and baseball all at the same time! I loved the Buffalo chicken!Kid-friendliness: They cater to kids and sports fans.Wheelchair accessibility: Open access for all wheelchair using customers.”
“Pizza is great! But a bit pricey...got a med combo plus for $33. They do have really great monthly deals.Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza is wonderful, meatless pasta options”
“It's literally some of the best pizza I've ever had! The cheese and ingredients were so fresh. Also great beer selection. I'm a huge fan of hazy ipas and they had a wonderful variety! Definitely will be back!!”

“I love the daily Loin & Shake special. The workers are sometimes a little snotty though. Yesterday the time was really short. The only complaint is like i said , sometimes the employees are ”
“The perfect little neighborhood ice cream shack. I love that they offer the rotating flavors of the Dole soft serve; it’s great to have a dairy free option. Everything else on the menu is delicious as well, and the prices are reasonable. The line outside moves fast.”
“My favorite restaurant in Galesburg for both the people who work there & their patrons. The food & the service are terrific & you can't eat a better meal or for a lower price.”
“It's literally some of the best pizza I've ever had! The cheese and ingredients were so fresh. Also great beer selection. I'm a huge fan of hazy ipas and they had a wonderful variety! Definitely will be back!!”
“Nice little coffeehouse for those who want an escape from the commercial. Good coffee selection, and they do a good real macchiato. Made me feel like I was overseas drinking it!”
“An old firehouse converted into a very cool restaurant and brewery, the Iron Spike delivered perfectly on atmosphere, service, food, and craft brew. We started off with a tasty appetizer of thai shrimp. Extremely flavorful and fabulous way to start off the food adventure. Our entrees were pulled pork sandwich with homemade bbq sauce, Asian crunch burger, Peanut Butter and Bacon burger (added a side of their homemade jalapeno jam), and Jalapeño Popper burger...all with crunchy fries. Sunday they have a happy hour that offers 1/2 priced drinks, which was perfect for a flight of 5 beers to sample their offering. We did add the peanut butter porter with the peanut butter burger for a perfect pairing! If you are in the Galesburg area, I highly recommend you give this place a try!”
“Great family style restaurant. My grandson had a breakfast that was huge. I had a hot beef sandwich that was huge also. Very good flavor. Wish I had thought to take a picture. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. Great prices too.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of options on kids menu.”
“Lenny's way + hot relish ftw. Definitely better quality and value than some of other sandwich chains in the area. Would love to have a Lenny's closer to home.”
“Stopped in here on my way to Truckee, CA. The food was great, the serves was excellent, and the atmosphere was nice. Will stop in here next time passing through. Had an Amtrak transfer at their train station.”
“The restaurant is small but mighty! The decor is vibrant and festive. The service is swift, and we loved that all employees were helping with every table to keep things moving. What we really noticed was that all of our food was flavorful without being smothered in strong sauces. From the burritos to the fajitas, everything had fantastic flavor that was just right. And my mango margarita was delicious! We arrived just before 6pm on a Friday evening and just beat the crowd coming into the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: There is a separate kids menu with a variety of options at a good price.”
“There's a reason we locals call this place Little Mexico .Get the rice an beans with your orderUse the red and green sauce. It'll only burn till it doesn't and it's Delicious ?”
“Cherry Street Brewing Company is a wonderful family owned brewery with a great food and adult beverage menu. My favorites on the menu include the Pretzel Bites, traditional Jumbo chicken wings, Bacon & Beer Cheese Burger, Black Bean Burger, Breaded Portabello Fries, Wedge Salad, and Mozzarella Sticks to name a few. The Service (waiters, bartenders, etc) is top notch!Vegetarian options: Black Bean Burger is phenomenal!”
“Great local family and wonderful food. Love all the things here! Treat yourself to a half loaf of garlic bread or cinnamon bread! My favorite is the torpedo, as well as tortellini with meat sauce. Try the torpedo hot too!”
“I had 17 different to go orders when ordering he was very patient with me and went over again to make sure we got everything .on delivery day he gave me a call to make sure we still wanted order he was on time and food warm still in this cold snowy weather.it was all there and very delicious. Thank ”
“Had the fried Chicken. It was very good. The fried potatoes are excellent. I haven't had a bad meal there. Excellent service fast and friendly. The building is in need of more lighting. It's very dark inside the building and some Mexican music would be a nice touch also. Overall, I love the food and the prices are very reasonable. I will keep coming back.”

“In Galesburg this is one of the few places that are actually a decent place to eat and the food is actually what you expect. The other places I don't think the people know how to ”
“We did not eat inside as we were traveling through but the Wagyu Steak Burger was WELL WORTH it! I would take that burger which cost about the same as McDonald's burgers depending on where you are, and it has an amazing taste! Wish I had taken a picture for everyone.”
“This is definitely an underrated fast food place in Galesburg. When Ive ate here, the food is always fresh and hotIt comes out fast (i waited maybe 5 minutes or less each time ive eaten here)The workers are very friendly. It could just be a little cleaner, sometimes you’ll see soda rings on the table from the drink cups and the occasional crumb but that is to be expected. They also have music playing which can get a little loud, but not annoying. The servings are also HUGE, a medium is the equivalent to a large at places like mcdonalds.if youre looking for a quick bite, definitely come here.”
“Not sure if they serve food. But as for drinks, you can't go wrong. I'd like to give a shout out to Dave for the hat and cozzie. Like I told you I may be back next week or in 10 months. But I will be back.”
“Ordered and it was very hard to understand the gentleman taking orders. Drive around to pay and get order another guy hard to understand anything he was saying at all.Need to speak English cause I don't speak Islam.”
“I had a pick up for my mom. Since I didn't know what was ordered, I didn't realize they got the sides the wrong sizes but they were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Loved the atmosphere too! I'm giving 4 stars because the side sizes were messed up. Other than that. it was great!”
“This review is for the Subway on Henderson Street. If you go to Subway in Galesburg, DO NOT go to the one on East Main. Go to the one on Henderson Street. The people are much nicer, the sit-down area is cleaner and you get enough on your sandwich to know it's a sandwich and not just a loaf of bread.”
“Only place I go to,if wanting only a biscuit with just jelly love themParking: Easy in and outWheelchair accessibility: I'm wheel chair but always will find a parking”
“Food at Wendy's seems to be decreasing in value for the money you pay. Prices are higher but portions appear to be less. When you can go to Avanti's or another sit-down resteraunt for close to the same amount, I'm increasing less likely to go to any regular fast food restaurants whether it be Wendy's, McDonald's, Burger King or any of the others. Value for what you pay just isn't there anymore!”
“Jimmy John’s employees hustle and they show it. Food is great and they treat you like they appreciate you! Highly recommend the tuna. Their tuna makes subways taste like a dirt.”
“I ordered on mobile app first time and picked up. I forgot about Sr discount and asked cashier. She said she doesn't know anything about mobile app. Normal response from a teen.”
“I unfortunately already forgot his name because I was in a hurry, but the morning manager on 2/13/2024 Was very respectful and helpful along with the whole working team. The store was well kept in the food was well-made. I’m a truck driver who takes this route a lot and Will definitely be stopping here ”
“Our local KFC on Henderson Street in Galesburg Illinois is pretty good and the people are always nice..I have been going here since 2003 when I moved here from California. I will say nothing beats IN N OUT Burger though...lolVegetarian options: Mash potatoes, green beans Cole slaw...What else ya need?”
“I have gotten ice cream and meals here plenty of times. The staff is always friendly and kind. They are also very patient and willing to fix a mistake if one has occurred. I had a big order and some of it got lost while I was ordering, but it was easily remedied. Thank you to the staff for being patient and willing to help.”
“Nice to see the flavor syrups are finally back in the soda fountain. I really like the Vanilla Coke from there. They have some pretty good food and service there, too. One of my favorite fast food places.”
“Doreen is awesome, if I've got some time to kill I'll stop on just to chat w her! It's an all around relaxing, chill place to visit with friends and even strangers.”
“Lenny's way + hot relish ftw. Definitely better quality and value than some of other sandwich chains in the area. Would love to have a Lenny's closer to home.”

“This place is family owned and they are very friendly and have a great selection of delicious ice cream. Went there with my grandkids, back in 2015 and never went to another place. Mr. Lim, the original owner, and his wife were like childhood friends for me and my family, and his passing was very sad to me and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His son is running the business now, and like his daddy, he is very friendly. God bless him , his mom and all the family.”
“Had a Princess Lolly Lotus beverage and it was delicious! My only issue is how sweet it is. I drank it down to 3/4 and then topped it off with Tangerine La Croix which made the drink easier to sip on. I will be back!”
“1st trip to Pz's. There were 4 of us. The petite Filet was excellent, the baked sweet potato was so good. The place was clean & looked freshly painted. The couple we were with had the prime rib & the Walleye. We will definitely go back soon.”
“What a great little GEM of Galesburg I accidentally stumbled upon. Great Coffee, the selection of baked goods is just amazing! The staff young but very professional and very kind.”
“I love it here!!! Live music on Saturday nights is TO DIE FOR! The bartenders are always kind and sweet and personable. My only qualm is the bathroom light auto shutting off when I’m taking a dump :(. Other than that, assuming I’m not constipated, this bar is amazing!!!”
“Love the atmosphere with the local antiques and huge bookcase with ladder for the bottles. Drinks were tasty, tried a holiday fun and a bourbon on Sam the bartenders' recommendation. Both were very good! Ask for the house bourbons or whiskeys if that's your drink of choice, you will not be disappointed!”
“I go to this pub to Watch the NiteLife Band. I really enjoy the atmosphere and the dancing I highly recommend, coming out every 1st and third Sunday of the month! Great time !”
“I can't rate the food portion of this survey because I didn't have any food. CACTUS COUNTRY is definitely my most favorite place to go for a few drinks and to listen to a live band!! The drink prices are very reasonable, (cheap if you ask me!!) The atmosphere has always been very welcoming and friendly! The business is clean, and the restrooms are also very clean (a HUGE PLUS TO ME!!! Because there's nothing worse than a filthy restroom!! This bar is my #1 choice, I honestly wish I could go more often!Parking: There is a big parking lot and there's parking omg the road if the parking lot gets too full. (On band nights, the parking lot gets filled quickly!)Wheelchair accessibility: A person who needs a wheelchair shouldn't have any problems getting into this establishment! As a nurse, the only potential problem would be getting through the gravel parking lot. Inside the establishment, there is plenty of open space for a wheelchair and the women's restroom is plenty big for a wheelchair to fit inside. (Never been in or seen the men's restroom.)”
“I hosted my nephew’s 40th birthday party here and it couldn’t have been better. The space was decent, but the customer service from the manager Kelly, owners Adam and his wife (I hate I can’t remember her name) was above and beyond. The taco bar was delicious, the music played was on point and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. If your looking for a place to host an event for 20-40 people or so in Galesburg, make The Patio your spot!”
“I had something I had never tried before and I really liked it. It was the Hawaiian Quesadilla. The restaurant is nice and the staff is friendly. Food was fast and hot.”
“Our whole office is addicted to boosted tea now lol. Twice this week different members of our team have taken turns buying for the group and we’re already planning our next trip. I love the flavors and that the drinks fit in perfectly with my current lifestyle and diet changes.”
“Good spot for local grub! When you enter, you'll see the bar and lots of bar-height tables. Past the bar to the left is another room with regular tables and booths (better for our family dining). The room is also sparsely filled with game machines for all ages. The atmosphere isn't the bar area was hyped up, as everyone was watching sports on TV. The other dining room was almost eerily quiet and subdued. The service and food were good. We all enjoyed our meals - burgers, sandwiches, fries, etc. - but didn't have anything special to draw us back. We felt like we were a bit forgotten sitting in the "other" room.If I want to watch a game, I'd definitely come back without the kiddos and sit in the bar area.Parking: Street parking is available along Main Street, and there are various free parking lots all around the area within a short walking distance.Kid-friendliness: A kids menu is available. Our 6-year-old liked the food but thought her burger was too big/tall to bite without cutting up.There are a few electronic games for some fun, but the atmosphere is pretty low-key otherwise.Wheelchair accessibility: One main door entrance right off the sidewalk leads to a single-level restaurant with clear aisles between tables. Extra dining room has chair-height seating and plenty of space for maneuvering.”
“Awesome, small town bar... Good bartenders friendly locals, Card and cash... I travel for work so I try to find good biker bars to relax after work and have a few beers. Good place..”
“Stopped in to get some of the crazy puffs. There was a line so O thought it would be await but I got in and out and they were hot and good. I hope you keep them !!”

“Used the self serve to order. Never any receipts, alway empty. Got my to go order and didnt get a drink. Told the female manager I needed a drink and she grabbed my sack to look at the ticket on it. Gave me a dirty look and got my cup. Never said thank you or anything. Acted like I was trying to steal a drink. Attitude in the store is horrible. Last time going there. Was at 6:30 on thursday night. Store was dirty also.”
“I love the Main St. Hy-Vee, the way the one on Henderson street is set up doesn't make much sense to me and they tend to not have everything the Main St one does. People are friendlier at main as well”
“I was disappointed, the areas looked poorly cleaned and staff were in short supply. Our server was great with the kids, four between the ages of 5 and 15. She understood kids ways and was very patient with the littlest one because she wanted to place her own order. Our food was basically breakfasts and everything came out as it should. Wish restaurants would serve the children first.Parking: Galesburg, Illinois”
“We were greeted at the door, and seated right away,, our drink order was taken,we couldn't decide what we wanted right away, so our server gave us time, checking back to see if we were ready,, didn't feel rushed,, we didn't want to eat heavy, our goal was to have a blonde brownie sundae for dessert! Will go back again!”
“I absolutely love coming to the packinghouse! the salad bar is a must have! it is always VERY fresh, and there are a lot of options to choose from. I have tried many things off of the menu. The calamari is great! You wont regret trying anything off of the menu! The jalapeño chicken wraps to the meat loaf all the way to the steaks are great choices depending on what you are craving that day! Did I mention that the salad bar is phenomenal? I've tried many of the drinks here, and I love the long islands and I especially love their red cabernet sauvingons!this place is great whether you are coming here alone, with a group, or for date night! I could really go on and on about why you should eat here but I'd love to see you experience it for yourself!Tonight I had the pleasure of Alexia and Kolissa serving me and they are both great compliments to this establishment! They also were more than accommodating! 5 out 5 EVERYTIME!Vegetarian options: The salad bar is a must have!”
“I ordered a chocolate shake and was given one that looked like vanilla..... When I brought it to the manager's attention he said yeah it looked like it was almost out..... And offered to remake it for me. They were very busy so it took about 7 minutes and it just kind of ruined the whole meal as I was looking forward to having a shake while I ate my steakburger.”
“The food quality has improved since it has changed hands. Better service, better food. The price is alright for a buffet.Vegetarian options: Buffet has several vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: Several well-behaved children dining while I was there.”
“Awesome every time! My food is always great and the staff are both kind and efficient, Brittney was wonderful at the drive thru when I was there today. One of my fav stops in town to pick up lunch.”
“Surprisingly great. We've eaten at some great Mexican restaurants in Los Angeles and New York City and this place is incredible. Who would have thought a great Mexican restaurant would turn up in Indiana? Don't miss the cocktails.”
“This McDonald's is conveniently located with free off street parking and drive thru access. We were waited on quickly by a friendly staff. The bathrooms were clean. I was amazed at how the staff helped a large family before me. this franchise met all my expectations.”
“I unfortunately already forgot his name because I was in a hurry, but the morning manager on 2/13/2024 Was very respectful and helpful along with the whole working team. The store was well kept in the food was well-made. I’m a truck driver who takes this route a lot and Will definitely be stopping here ”
“I love all the gluten free options here! The spinach bisque is divine, so luscious and creamy. I tried the crispy polenta stack and it did not disappoint. And who can resist a crepe for dessert?”
