“I hosted my nephew’s 40th birthday party here and it couldn’t have been better. The space was decent, but the customer service from the manager Kelly, owners Adam and his wife (I hate I can’t remember her name) was above and beyond. The taco bar was delicious, the music played was on point and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. If your looking for a place to host an event for 20-40 people or so in Galesburg, make The Patio your spot!“
“This is a new favorite lunch spot. I've enjoyed the shrimp poboy and a catfish dinner, and the flavors were really nice and authentic (having moved to Illinois from the south, I applaud their chef). The team is friendly, and the food is always delicious. I especially love the chips!Parking: There is street parking all along Main Street, and it's usually not full. There are also a number of free parking lots throughout the downtown area, within a block of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: There are two glass doors to enter through, but the ground is level and smooth.“
“Good spot for local grub! When you enter, you'll see the bar and lots of bar-height tables. Past the bar to the left is another room with regular tables and booths (better for our family dining). The room is also sparsely filled with game machines for all ages. The atmosphere isn't the bar area was hyped up, as everyone was watching sports on TV. The other dining room was almost eerily quiet and subdued. The service and food were good. We all enjoyed our meals - burgers, sandwiches, fries, etc. - but didn't have anything special to draw us back. We felt like we were a bit forgotten sitting in the "other" room.If I want to watch a game, I'd definitely come back without the kiddos and sit in the bar area.Parking: Street parking is available along Main Street, and there are various free parking lots all around the area within a short walking distance.Kid-friendliness: A kids menu is available. Our 6-year-old liked the food but thought her burger was too big/tall to bite without cutting up.There are a few electronic games for some fun, but the atmosphere is pretty low-key otherwise.Wheelchair accessibility: One main door entrance right off the sidewalk leads to a single-level restaurant with clear aisles between tables. Extra dining room has chair-height seating and plenty of space for maneuvering.“
“In the area, I really like to eat at the local places. This place did not disappoint. I saw the tenderloin sandwich online and just new I had to try it. I got it grilled with pickles and onions. It was delicious. And since I haven't had fried cheese curds since I was a kid, I had to get them ad well. They were sooo good!!! If I was in town longer, I would definitely be back to try other things off of their menu as it all looked good and was very reasonably priced.“
“Drove an hour for a new experience. The waitstaff was super friendly and the axe throwing was also fun. They provide axes, throwing stars and knives as well as hatchets. You can grab a bite to eat and drinks too.I have four stars instead of 5 because the hours online didn’t match the business hours. They closed at 9pm not 11. Also their website is down and the description was a little confusing. You walk into an all-American restaurant but they mostly now serve Mexican food.“
“Exceptional food quality and a great atmosphere. Been in town doing work, and have been several times now. Burgers are bar none some of the best I’ve ever had, o less wings were incredible. Highly recommend if in or around Galesburg Illinois.“
