“Food options and preparations were excellent. Dishes creative. Service outstanding and gracious. Choices of desserts superlative as it also had a patisserie. Wanted to try them all. The ambience was beautiful and warm. I love dining out and I live in Chicago but happened to be up north. I would most definitely go back again”
“I love their egg rolls. They remind me of Kow Kow that was in Lincolnwood and close about a decade ago. Food is consistent "old school" Chinese food. I always get the Pepper Tomato Beef. Very convenient local food.”
“This catering outfit does a fabulous job. I recently worked with them for a wedding shower I threw at my home. They were terrific in every way-responsive, helpful with menu ideas and amounts, and all of the food was delicious. They dropped off the food the morning of the shower and returned to retrieve their baskets the following week. I would use them again without hesitation.”
“Food was incredible. Far exceeding my expectations. However, the star was the service that Pepe provided. A warm and boisterous server that made us feel incredibly welcomed!”
“Leslie and Millie are the Best. Excellent Customer Service in two great personalities that make you feel welcomed to come to true juice. The product is excellent as well. 10 stars for Leslie and Millie!”
“This Subway is really well run with great staff. My wife and I have been eating daily Subway lunches for almost 15 years. This one is perhaps the best one we have ever been to.”
“Went early in the morning, good but the donuts they sell in bulk are of different quality then they sell off the shelf.Dietary restrictions: Their donuts don’t have nuts, which is good”
“This was my first time at this Starbucks and the staff were really friendly! The service was great and the peppermint mocha latte was made perfectly! The dining area was really nice too!”
“Quick and my salmon was delicious. The veggie mix had so many different things and they were all so good! Coffee was good too! Nice break from the walking.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu”
“I do not know how people don’t like this place!! I grew up on it!! The employees are some of the nicest people I have ever met! Sure things are a little expensive, but that’s because of the location! I bet rent is crazy high!! The food, people and— the food are so amazing!!”
“It's truly a crime that this place doesn't have more reviews. This is one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. The sourdough is splendid, giving the crust a beautiful balance between soft and crunchy. The sauce is out of this world, I wish they sold jars of it so I could eat it more often. Every topping is incredibly flavorful and fresh. My favorites were the ricotta, cherry tomatoes, beef meatballs, and spinach.Make sure to preorder at least a day before you plan to go, since they make a limited amount of pizzas. Do yourself a favor and order the larger size, that way you can enjoy leftovers once you're back home and dreaming about the pizza! I can't wait to come back here again soon!”
“I love the jian bing with beef floss ; and the bubble waffles are delicious. The place is always clean, the proprietor is always friendly, the service is quick, and the prices are reasonable. .”
“Best ice cream EVER and the service and experience is unbelievable. Such a fun place to go. Even though the ice cream is expensive, the service and the samples make up for it. Love this place.”
“The lunch specials are a good deal at $14, 2 meats with a giant platter of rice, tomato, little salad and hummus with peta bread.Granted it’s only 2 meats, but with the giant platter of rice it looks like a lot more food for the money. My grilled chicken was moist, tender and flavorful. The beef had great grilled flavor and tender too. It’s nice things were over salted.”
“A solid pizza that's worth adding to your rotation. We got a deep dish pepperoni for takeout, so I can't speak to the interior. But the sauce and pepperoni were fantastic. Basically the same thing as Pequod's. The big difference is the crust. While Pequod's crust is very airy and crunchy, Burt's crust has less rise. I really liked it, but it was probably thicker than it needed to be. It loses one star because the carmelized crust was straight-up burnt. I love Pequod's outer ring of crispy cheese, Burt's edges were charred to tastelessness. I was bummed about that. Still, Burt's was a tasty treat. It's great to have another standout option in the Chicago area pizza pantheon!”
“Make a reservation! Drinks are amazing, love the mezcal options. The decor is really great and atmosphere is fun , but loud. Not a “quiet night out” place, but great for fun with friends. Food is outstanding. Everything is fresh and homemade. Tortillas are amazing. This time we got the specials which were mole enchiladas (they know how to do a solid mole) and fish tacos. Both excellent.”
“Excellent find while I was taking class at the Chicago Mosaic School around the corner. Great food and service. So good that I went back the next day!Poutine is exceptional.”
“Worth the wait and must try! Beautiful and unique venue in the unassuming town of Des Plaines. Our server was kind and welcoming, food was delicious, drinks were fun and tasty. The only two items that were less than ideal, the horrible acoustics (incredibly loud) and although it was too on my list to try, the chicken shawarma rolls were underwhelming. Even with those two items, the great service and food quality it's still worth the 5 star review. We sat upstairs, which very much appreciated, being out of the hustle and bustle of the downstairs. Looking forward to trying the brunch and the outside patio... overlooking the water.”
“I absolutely loved visiting! Pizza was amazing and the hospitality was unmatched! We tried slices of so many different varieties and couldn’t decide on our favorite! The salad and asparagus were so refreshing and brought the perfect balance to our meal. I can’t wait to come back!! If you are anywhere near Evanston you need to stop by, and if not you need to add this to your travel list!”
“Little burger spot tucked away at the bowling alley.I had a Boba burger with fries, both were delicious and freshly made. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend.Stay for some bowling while you’re at it.”
“Delicious; homemade; local, casual friendly. Delicious sandwiches, and daily surprises from the baker, often with seasonal fruit. Great music on special occasions.”
“The lentil soup at Jaffa Shawarma is a comforting and delicious option for those looking for a warm and satisfying meal. Made with lentils, vegetables, and aromatic spices, it's a bowl of goodness that's sure to warm you up from the inside out and leave you feeling nourished and content.”
“Juiciest burger in Illinois! I've never been to Au Cheval, but several people have told me that paradise pups burger tops Cheval. The bun is tasty, patties are fresh, and the sauce is out of this world. Parking is a bit cramped and be prepared to wait but these burgers are WORTH IT!”
“The food was SOOOO yummy and the service was impeccable!!! We are visiting from out of town and we’re so impressed!! We’ll be coming back even if it means driving 3+ hours!! TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT!! Jun is the best!!”
“Absolutely adore the food and the service that this location. Perfect to dine in and take out! Amazing delicious healthy option. The staff there is the absolute best!”
“I had stopped in here before to get an iced coffee and it did not disappoint , this time I went back for something new :Iced Coconut matcha latte! So delicious ! For someone who loves matcha, this has to be one of my favorites in the city!Loved the compliment too!”
“Last night started off a little rocky (20 minute wait after reserving 3 weeks in advance, first table offered was a high top in the noisy bar). Then the professional and polite service kicked into overdrive, and resulted in an exceptional experience. Neil (a manager) and Fernando (our server) were both extremely attentive. A perfect martini to start. The crispy lobster and shishitos appetizer was great. Wedge was a little dry. The filet was perfect, as was the spicy crab Campanelle. The key lime was a little too tart, but the butterscotch sundae was great. What made the evening, however, was the friendly and professional service. Will definitely return.”
“Such a hidden gem. It’s a one person operation so make sure you aren’t too hungry when you go. You can’t go wrong with any dish. Don’t forget to bring cash!”
“When I visited Zimis pizza and grill, i was just trying a new lunch spot and i ordered the grandmas pizza and i also tried the traditional qevapis. Very good pizza, and also the qebapis were to die for. the service was great. the enviroment was very classy, and upscale. i would definitely reccomend zimis to any one looking for good food.”
“Hometown Coffee and Juice in Glencoe is a cozy spot that’s perfect for anyone who loves tasty, healthy food like salads and avocado toast, and their coffee is just amazing—it’s mild and not burnt, making it one of the best around! It’s right by the train station, making it easy to get to if you’re walking or taking the train because finding a parking spot can be really tough. Also, it’s a very popular place, so it gets super busy. If you’re planning to meet someone here, try to come at least fifteen minutes early so you can find a place to sit. Despite the crowd, the delicious coffee and great atmosphere make it all worth it. Just remember to give yourself enough time for parking and grabbing a good spot!”
