I just moved to the area and was looking for a great Gyro. Wow, did I find exactly what I was looking for. Spiro's is authentic, delicious and the owners and staff have tremendous pride in the food they make for their customers. I was set on an Gyro but the owner made me a sample of the Bomber to give me a taste of what I will order on my next visit - the bread was soft, gravy delicious and the beef thinly sliced with tons of flavor. Warning: when you sit down to eat make sure you have napkins. My wife and I always leave this place with our faces decorated when we forget that one step because we can't be bothered to get up to grab some napkins if we forget we are too busy guzzling these delicious dishes down our throats. I was working out in Glenview across the street from this deli. I had a craving for an Italian beef and ended up stopping here and boy did I not regret it. ended up coming back today for a second day in a row on the job for lunch and this is by far the best Italian beef I’ve ever had in my life, the two gentlemen behind the counter were extremely nice and friendly and remembered me by name even though I had only been there once prior definitely will be back next time.
