“The experience was great from the time I walked in to the time that I left. It always is! The wait for a table is not usually long except maybe holidays or Sundays. However, by the time you roam around the store looking at all the beautiful items, it’s time to be seated. The food is delicious especially the greens and cornbread muffins and the loaded sweet potatoes ?so yummy ?! The appetizers are really good too! Thank you Cracker Barrel. I gave you 4/5 because I didn’t see a vegetarian option outside of beans and sides and even the greens have meat in them.Vegetarian options: Outside of beans, the side dishes and salad, I don’t recall any protein meals with tofu or black bean burgers. While I don’t eat meat in general even the greens have meat in them. Maybe Cracker Barrel you could invest in something for vegetarians??“
“Wonderful dining experience we had a group of 11 with pre-made reservations for a birthday party. We paid with one check then venmo one person our amounts. We look forward to visiting again.Vegetarian options: Cheese pizza add topping of choice. Salads.Dietary restrictions: We also have gluten-free restrictions.Parking: It was a Saturday morning. Restaurants in the area were busy. Most residents living in the condos and apartments were home. Plus we needed handicap parking with access.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes city curbs, crosswalk and restaurant entrance handicap accommodating.“
“The food, service, and atmosphere were all fine. But prices have gotten out of control. $3.49 for a diet soda is too much at a restaurant such as Denny's. When two drinks made of colored water cost as much as a meal, it is simply too much. $2.49 would be still high, but on the high end of exceptable. The cheap silverware also needs replacement.“
“Culver's was really good. Their burgers are juicy and flavorful, with the perfect balance of toppings. The buttered and toasted buns add an extra layer of deliciousness. And let's not forget about their mouthwatering cheese curds! They're crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and oh-so-addictive. The custard is a must-try too, with its creamy texture and a variety of delectable flavors. The service at Culver's is always friendly making the experience even better. If you're craving a burger or custard, Culver's is the place to go.Vegetarian options: They have all kinds of delicious salads on their menu.“
“My husband and I came down from WI for our wedding anniversary because no other stakehouses were open. We found this on a Google search. Upon sitting down, our server asked if we were celebrating anything and we shared that it was our anniversary. We chose the appetizer special, bruschetta made with honey marscapone (sp?), and topped with pistachio. It was creamy and dreamy and we knew we were in for a good meal. I ordered the mistletoe mule, absolutely delicious and beautiful presentation. House bread and salads also didn’t disappoint. My husband ordered the special, a NY strip done Manhattan style with a mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese. My husband’s steak was cooked to perfection, and honey, that brown gravy was something to dance in your chair about. Delicious! At the end of our meal, our server Alejandro brought us a giant chunk of a chocolate cake, with the plate decorated “happy anniversary”.We were so thrilled with the food, but on top of the happy dance worthy food, Alejandro and the team were so on top of everything. It was such a lovely dinner. And random side note, the ladies bathroom was so beautifully decorated and crystal clean. So glad we found this on a random google search, can’t wait to go back. Thanks, Alejandro for taking such great care of us!“
“This jungle-themed chain continues to weather challenges that led to the closing of several of its locations. The spectacular theme park-style décor replete with animatronics, though dated, continues to attract families with children. Not recognized for serious dining or an innovative kitchen, the chain continues to focus on comfort food and family faves. Menu prices seem fairly steep for food quality that's often perceived as ho-hum. Customers seem to come more for the experience than the chow. If only (parent company) Landry's would provide a seriously upgraded menu with better value ... Gurnee Mills and its immediate surroundings offer no fine dining, so in truth there's little competition. But, hey, the food here is actually not bad! My Missus and I visited for a weekday lunch with several friends. So, we walk into a completely EMPTY restaurant and the hostess greets us curtly with, "Do you have a reservation?" Gimme a break! [Note to the manager: Please instruct your hostesses to say, "Welcome to Rainforest Café! How many in your party?"] Things actually went fine once we were seated. Our server (they call 'em "safari guides") was helpful, efficient and witty. The Missus and I ordered Blue Mountain chicken sandwiches, and our companions feasted on burgers, fish n' chips, and shrimp tacos. The kitchen overlooked a special request and had to remake one of the items; apart from that error, our meals were quite fine. Here, you feel like you're on vacation. We never tire of the thunderstorm effects and the flapping elephant ears. Before or after the meal, it's always fun to browse in the adjoining gift shop with its many unique items.“
“I love this place! So happy to have this in Gurnee! Such a fine dining experience! From the aesthetically pleasing appearance of the facility to the excellent customer service, all the way to the delicious food from appetizer through dessert, you won't regret coming here!“
