I researched best Mexican and this was top 10 in Waukegan area. The food is authentic and delicious! They make their own chips. Great salsa. Portions are good and prices are low. Great service. It was full on a Saturday evening. Would come back.Parking: Lot in a strip mall
Not much to say about this place other than great tacos and quick service. Being one of the only "late night" (open later than 9 unlike most places ) spots you can't go wrong. Carne asada tacos were moist and flavorful. I definitely understand why it stays packed during regular dinner hours. And if tacos aren't your mood, they have a pretty expansive menu selection to choose from.

The food, the atmosphere, and the service were all on point. Maria was our waitress and she was great. My wife and I trusted her to pick out our meals, and she did not disappoint. The margarita was a ten, and food was just as good. I'm from outside the area , but I would definitely consider going here again if I was anywhere close.
