“This is my ALL TIME favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Although it is small, that doesn't bother me. I think it's very comfortable. Their food is delicious, I recommend the street tacos that come with SUPER spicy tomatillo salsa. I love the El Jalisco special as well!”

“Perfect place for a date night. The Pulled Pork Sandwich was easily the best I have ever had. The onion rings tasted like good fair food.This is a great place for those who want to eat, play some pool, and grab some drinks.The posted hours did show Sunday as closed, but the light up "Open" sign was on and the staff assured us they were open.”

“The staff were friendly and had a good atmosphere to sit and eat. There are a couple of options for vegetarians. They ran out of flat bread so we had to order a sub. We ordered veggie and spinach pesto from the "Not breakfast" menu. We also ordered an Americano which was ok. The food was good but it was very sweet. We were not sure if it was some topping or if they added sugar syrup. It's a decent place to eat in Herrin.Vegetarian options: There are a couple of options for vegetarians under the "Not breakfast" menu.”

“Wife and stopped in for lunch and it was fantastic. We also bought some cibatta rolls that are incredibly good. Nice selection of Italian food stuff, a deli in the back. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Definitely don't hesitate to stop in.”

“I grabbed some donuts for my kids here one morning. They were busy with cars in the drive thru and people inside. The staff were friendly and courteous. They were patient with my order and questions. My kids like the long john's with no filling and chocolate icing. I like the cinnamon donuts. They also have good coffee here. The prices are very reasonable.Parking: Small parking lot but parking available. They are located off Highway 48, so it's a busy road in the mornings.Kid-friendliness: Good environment for kids”

“This diner has been around for a very long time. The building is dated and there is a certain smell about the place. Not a smell that is horrible, just the smell of an older building. What offsets the older building smell is the food and service. The food was very good and much less expensive than Huddle House, Cracker Barrel, etc. The service was good. Friendly and attentive. Overall this is a good place to eat at a great value.”
