Veloce is a hidden gem in the Deerfield Highland Park area, although there are many pizza places in the area there’s nothing quite like this one. When I first picked up the pizza, it was so fresh that it immediately steamed up my car. Once I got home, the quality of the ingredients really stood out. From the mozzarella and pepperoni quality to the perfect char on the bread of the pizza. Overall, It was an amazing flavorful experience.
Really good Wood-Fired pizza! We found this through Yelp one Saturday afternoon and decided to give it a try. The eating area is small and only fits 4 people. But it was just my husband and I. We asked for suggestions and decided to try one pepperoni pizza and one vege pizza. Great crust! Very light and crispy. Great mix of fresh ingredients! The touch of added fresh basil to each pizza on the side was very nice. It will be a go to place for a delicious lunch or dinner.

The food is phenomenal! Highly recommend their turkey wood-fired sandwich! It has a very refreshing taste and you will be going back for seconds! It’s a cute little place locally owned. Priced definitely match the quality of the food though! Make sure to call and place your order or just call to see if they are open since they have been experiencing some problems with the building they are in causing them to close but other than that I highly recommend!
