“Great place to go with your friends and have some pizza or just American-Italian food in general. I like how all the tables were stocked with Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, chili flakes, and napkins. The bathrooms could use some improvement but other than that everything was good.Parking: PlentyKid-friendliness: Good“
“Finally a local pizza joint that gives you that pizza smell and old chicago hospitality. The pizza crust was crisp and ingredients were fresh. Just about every staff member touched our table in some way. You can tell they truly enjoy working there and work as a team. Will be back for sure.“
“Morretti's (Schaumburg ) has become one of those restaurants where you feel like you are at home. The entire staff has always been welcoming since our 1st visit. The large selection of food/drinks/happyhour and daily specials has been bringing us back regularly since that first visit from last October. We have tried several of their Pizzas and quickly became a fan of their Old Chicago not only is it delicious, but half off Pizzas on a Tuesday makes it better. whether it's their Pizza, spaghetti, or filet mignon trio, I've walked out feeling satisfied. Did I mention their staff? Brian,Alberto, Joey and a few others have always welcomed us and made us feel at home with their attention to detail and great service...although we have 2 other locations that are much closer we always come to the Schaumburg location because we feel at home!“
“Wonderful experience! 1st time customers. We travel to work & this establishment hit the spot! Clean, friendly, food was fantastic... Wonderful mix of quick (but not too quick) and comfortable setting. Very welcoming, very clean, & definitely impressed! Will recommend and hopefully visit again the next time we're in the area.“
“Absolutely amazing new restaurant in Rolling Meadows. Have been there twice now, once for dine in, and the food was so good I got carry out for dinner only a few days later! Service is impeccable, the weekly specials are delicious, and everything tastes fresh and homemade. You can’t go wrong with anything you order. 10/10!“
“What a pleasant surprise! Our server William was amazing! So attentive, kind, and had great recommendations! They had just updated their menu when we went and it was hard to decide what to get. We got the mascarpone ravioli, shrimp scampi, and the breaded chicken in a lemon cream sauce. Everything was so delicious and piping hot! We got the chocolate layer cake for dessert. We ate so fast we didn’t get photos of our meals, but I added a photo of the dessert. We will definitely be back!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!“
“This place is fantastic. The mozzarella he makes is to die for. The sausage Frank makes is the best I’ve had since leaving NY. HIS Beef is home made and delicious. And the pizza , Bro, forget about it, delicious.I have never been disappointed in anything from here. I can’t wait for them to be in their new location in the Commons in Barrington.Rich Robertaccio“
“Happen to find this little gem while waiting for a tow truck for my boyfriend‘s truck today. I was thinking Subway, but then I found this. I am so glad that I walked in there, and that she talked me into the focaccia Capri style. The foot-long is massive the sandwiches, and the meats are phenomenal and the service could not have been better, I don’t care if I live 40 minutes from here I’m coming back !!“
“We just hosted our daughter’s baby shower at Francesca’s Tavola in Arlington Heights and could not be more pleased with how the event turned out! The food was amazing and the staff was absolutely incredible. They provided top service to all of our guests, and were so incredibly helpful and accommodating to me during the event set up and all throughout the event, ensuring everything was going as planned. Truly, an amazing experience and can’t recommend them enough. Special shoutout to my event coordinator, Katherine Woods, and event manager, Rubi Duarte as well as the incredible staff, Rene, Mzrio, Kenny and Juzn Jr. You’re the best!!“
“Stopped by on a week night for dinner with a friend. The restaurant feels spacious since the tables are not situated too closely. The server was friendly and helpful.I ordered the pasta with oxtail. It was delicious, full of tender meat and light pasta. I ordered the chocolate tiramisu to go. It too was full of chocolatey richness. If I was in the neighborhood I'd definitely return to try their other dishes.“
“Enjoyed some amazing sandwiches from here today. The Italian Grilled Cheese Panini was amazing. The pesto, mozzarella and giardanera was fresh and the Italian sub was great as well! What topped it off was the amazing and friendly service. The gentleman who took our order was the absolute sweetest and the cashier was a sweet heart as well. I highly recommend this spot.“
“This photo doesn’t do this pie justice. This is exactly what I have been looking for. Dynamite Chicago pizza! What can I say, the slices are thin crisp & spot on. Sauce is just right with a little acidity and tastes like tomatoes, not overpowering herbs. Good quality cheese blend of mozzarella & provolone. You can tell they make that sausage in house with the fennel and nice big chunks. This is what Chicago pizza is all about. I’ll be back.“
“I absolutely love this place! Outstanding Customer Service, Food, Drinks, Atmosphere and amazing professional Staff. Thank you for making my Family and I always feel welcomed, accomodating us, your patience and always paying attention to detail. For sure a special place and very cozy. Will be back for sure. Everything by far is delicious. Thank you for helping us make our Birthdays memorable and making us feel at home! ?“
“We order delivery from here about once a month. The food is always hot and delicious. The delivery drivers are always so friendly and personable. The food always arrives at the estimated time of often earlier. We have ordered pizza for a couple parties also and everyone we have talked to there is great! I would highly recommend!“
“Food and service here is excellent! Some of my favorite dishes are the pasta with vodka sauce, chicken lemon, and a good sea food selection. Brick oven pizza is amazing! 100% recommend this place. Plenty of great entrees and appetizers to choose from. Very friendly owner and great atmosphere. Always busy. Been coming here for years and never once disappointed.“
“Our first time here BUT not our last! It was so yummy! Had the beef sandwich and pasta salad! So good! We also had the minestrone soup and meat and cheese ravioli. The staff is so friendly and kind. Happy to have a fun new place in Roselle.“
“Just wanted to have a delicious special birthday party and we got it thank to the best in town, Fausto's Kitchen! Seafood dishes were majestic, aesthetic excellent and at the end everything was like enjoying a magical journey through a universe of unique wonderful tastes.Thank you Fausto's Italian Kitchen for such a great day!“
“V&V Pizza an absolute gem for thin crust pizza. The "Classic Pizza" is an absolute favorite in my household. Its bursting with delicious flavors! And it's always a bonus when a pizza place serves up tasty chicken wings too. You won’t be disappointed with V&V.“
“We love JJ Twigs. The pizza is always hot and fresh and they have really good sauce & cheese. The beef sandwich with cheese on garlic bread is hands down the best around. We typically get delivery and the drivers are professional and polite. The one time we ate there the service was good, the server was hustling to keep everyone happy and fun to talk to. A low key atmosphere and ok to bring the kids!“
“Lou Malnati's Restaurant is one of the most iconic pizzeria places! Their specialty is a deep dish pizza, called "Lou's Original".Definitely worth a visit.Although there are other items on the menu, the star is their pizza. Make sure you order enough to take home as leftovers. They warm up in the oven quite well!“
“I'm not being paid, I have no reason to lie, and all I want y'all to know is the Bourdain was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. Drive how ever far you need to to get one, was about an hour round trip for me and nothing will stop me from doing it again.“
“March 2024 bride here! All I can say is WOW! The team at Venuti’s went above and beyond to make our wedding a dream come true. I worked with Ciara throughout my planning process and she was an absolute dream. She is so, SO kind, she listened intently to my wants and needs, guided me through hiring vendors, and truly made everything so seamless and fun for us… as it should be! Having planned out wedding on my own (with the guidance of Ciara), When I entered Venuti’s on our wedding day I was blown away at how they made my vision come to life. The service was exceptional, as well as the food, ambiance, setup, etc. I cannot say enough kind words about this venue. Every penny is worth it, as they include so so much for you, cutting out extra vendors, emails, phone calls and STRESS. I trust them whole heartedly and would have my wedding there over and over again if I could. We get one day, let Venuti’s make it the best one.“
“This was my first time ordering here. I ordered a 3 topping pizza. It was really good!! No need to add extra sauce at all!! They put a good amount on!! I'll try some of there other items too. I'll definitely order from them again!!“
“Friday night is always pizza night in my house. My daughter loves coming to the "pizza store" with me to pick up our order...she's treated like a little celeb there and we love it. This past Friday was no different, so I wanted to give a shout out to the chef for making my little girl's night. We stopped in to pick up our order but forgot to ask for our free cheese. The store was bumpin' and while I didn't want to wait 15 more mins, I didn't want to be a burden on the kitchen. The chef saw I was with my daughter, and asked if the cheese was for her. When I told him it was, he simply nodded and went back into the kitchen. He came back out with my order, and 2 massive slices of cheese for my daughter. Not only is the food delicious, but service like that is why we go back. Thanks everyone!“
“Been a Rosati’s customer for 25 years using several different locations And I gotta say, I think this is the best location. I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed in any of the food. Everything has always been on point. Especially the pizza. I’ve had great wings, pasta, salads, desserts and appetizers too. I have done catering here and everything was great especially the fried chicken.“
“Food was excellent— one of my favorite restaurants in the Northwest suburbs. On this latest occasion, food was excellent; staffing was good—- service was excellent. New items on the menu—- be sure to support this restaurant; you be glad you did!!“
“I love this place, and I've been going for over 10 years now. The manager might seem rough around the edges from time to time, but he's an extremely kind person. He just has a lot on his plate running a pizza place that's near and dear to so many people in and around the area. Thank you, Naps, for all you've done. I had an opportunity to see the back kitchen because I was doing an inspection on the building & I was impressed by how clean it was, and the products I was seeing them use looked authentic.“
“I flew in from FL for my brother 40th birthday. The waitress Mary was exceptional and extraordinary in every way. This is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. My childhood friend had the cheese tortellini. It was the best dish I ever had in my whole life. My brother goes back for the baked clams as that is his all time favorite. They even sang happy birthday. It's a great feeling knowing that people still care. Thank you and God Bless!“
“They were great working with us from setting up the date, the room and the menu. It could not have been more perfect. The staff was very professional and helpful. The food and wine was extraordinary. We even had a lot of food left to take home after the party. I would reccomend them to everybody! It made planning and the event so easy.“
“This place is awesome!!! Food is delicious and everything is made with all fresh ingredients. The service is top tier. You can tell the workers really care about quality (which is hard to find nowadays). Highly recommend if you are looking for good authentic pizza!“
“First time... had curbside pickup and the food was still nice and hot when I got it home. Tasted great! Will definitely be back. Since we have been back multiple times now and are in, there has always been great food and a nice atmosphere. Twas back again tonight and indulged in the happy hour deals for apps and drinks. Great food, drink, and service as usual.“
“Small place, easy to miss. Excellent thin crust pizza. Limoncello Cake is light and delicious. The traditional bone-in wings are made to perfection. Wings were so good, they were gone before I thought to snap a pic. Very clean restaurant. Friendly staff.“
“Open, very, summery atmosphere! Feels like you're grabbing dinner on vacation to places like Palm Beach or Miami. Such a great place for a brief escape from Chicago winters. Elegant but still casual. Bright colors, nothing dark and dingy like several if the more old school Italian restaurants. Food is excellent! A good variety. I had the linguine with clans and I loved how it wasn't saturated in butter and garlic. Tasted like it does in Italy! Bread was fresh, beet salad was surprisingly delicious, and the Gelato was some of the best I ever had. We got hazelnut and pistachio. Coffee was good and strong. Service was good though we had to ask for several things which should have been already at the table, like grated cheese, salt and pepper, sharing plates should have come with the dessert as they gave enough spoons to know we were all sharing, etc. I've been here when it's jam packed and the service has always been great! This time it was less busy and we had to ask the bus boy for things. But, that being said, the waitress was very polite and immediately took care of requests when she was present. I wanted a table by the window and the host willingly accommodated us by making a 4 top for us. One plus from coming on a lesser busy time was that it was much quieter,l. Usually it's pretty loud in there when it's busy. But I always appreciate the uplifting vacation like atmosphere! I've never been disappointed, and this is probably my 4th time eating at Lucia Rose and will not my last.“
“Co-worker mentioned to try out the Boss's Signature. We decided to try it out and we are so glad we did!! Two of us had the ribeye and two had the corn beef and cabbage. For dessert we tried out the cheesecake and key lime pie. All the food was absolutely delicious! Was very impressed that the owner Gino came to our table to see how everything was!! You don't find that much these days. Wonderful people, atmosphere, good service and great food.....what more can you ask for. Already discussed that this may be our new go to place. Looking forward to trying out their breakfast menu.“
“I usually go to a pizza place on Irving Park Road in Roselle, but they were getting too pricy, and even charged a fee for using a credit card. I thought I’d give Capone’s a try, and I’m very glad I did!!I love a good sausage topping, and it can either make or break the rest of the pizza. The sausage Capone’s uses is tasty and not rubbery, as it can be with some other places. It was perfect. The sauce is has just the right amount of tanginess, and the crust is superb. The lady that answered the phone to take my order was very pleasant and patient (I had a few questions) and she even offered me free mozzarella sticks or a discount. There was no additional fee for using my credit card, and service was prompt (I picked up my pizza). The inside decor is warm, cheerful and quaint. Extremely cozy.I could definitely see eating there.I normally don’t write reviews, but my experience there was so pleasant, from the time I called to place the order, to taking the last bite of my final slice, that I felt compelled to.If they were open today (New Year’s Day) I would be ordering another pizza, since my son wasn’t home to enjoy it yesterday. : )5 stars*****“
“I just dined here for the 3rd time (Tues. 3/26)! My favorite server --Kevin (formerly the #1 most-requested server at nearby French bistro, D&J) -- did a great job, once again, with taking care of me! For appetizer, I had the Kaluga Caviar again! For entree, I had the 22 oz. Bone In Ribeye (DELICIOUS) with side orders of creamed spinach and polenta -- all were spectacularly DELICIOUS!!! For dessert, I had the Key Lime Pie to go (I was so very stuffed by then)! Overall, my 3rd time here was an EXCELLENT experience! I definitely plan on coming back, of course!!! *****“
“Garibaldi's is not my go to pizza place, but there are times when I get a hankering for their Pizza and it hit's the spot every time. The product is very consistent, the slices are huge. I remember when it was in Town and Country Mall back in the day and they had a guy tossing dough, it was pretty cool. I kinda miss that old mall. Anyway, yes, I recommend this place.“
“Ordered for delivery and it arrived ahead of schedule and warm. The cheese thin crust pizza was flavorful and not too greasy. The cheese was delicious and melty (not gummy or solid like most places around) and the sauce was nice and tomatoey and not too sweet. Fettuccini Alfredo was delicious, seasoned with herbs and you could taste the cheeses in the sauce. Salad was simple and well made with fresh tomatoes and cucumber. A very good size for the 3.00 side for the Alfredo. Only note is that it is a little more expensive than the other small pizza placed in the area. But, it is the best one I have had near my home so I don’t mind paying extra for good food! We will be ordering again and trying a specialty pizza next time. We ate it so fast we forgot to even take a picture.“
“Just tried their lunch combo yesterday and it was such a great deal!! Two square slices of pizza and a bottle of soda for $9 and some change! The choices are: cheese, pepperoni, or sausage. The crust is crispy on the bottom and soft and fluffy on the inside! Sauce tastes great too!I’ll be coming back when I come back into town for business!“
“Our meal last night was excellent..... I may be a bit biased as I have been eating their pizza since the mid 1960's : ) But last night was not an exercise in nostalgia - it's still the best pizza anywhere.Anyway we were thrilled to celebrate our wedding anniversary there! Thanks again for another fine meal...“
“Very good slice. Sauce was good, not sweet. One of the things I like is sauce that isn't loaded with sugar. Toppings were heavy, but not overwhelming. A good balance of flavors. The crust was thick enough to support the plentiful toppings. The crust was chewy. A little crispness or char would have made it close to perfect, but still a very good slice. The server/counter person was very cool, friendly and helpful.“
“I haven't had Nancy's in years. I only tried it because there are other pizza joints closer and there was a special since this location noted they were under new management. I had never gone to this location from the previous management. I thought their prices were a little on the high side for anything greater than a small. However the pizza I had and the appetizers were really good.“
“The freshest shrimp cocktail you can find! The lobster bisque was a $10 upcharge which was off-putting but it had real chucks of lobster in it which made up for it. The scallops on my dish were cooked perfectly. The service was outstanding as our server, Branislav, was very attentive and professional at all times. I will be back again.“
“The food is always fantastic, possibly the best Italian in the Chicagoland area. The only issue is they overbook it on the weekends and its understaffed. From the time we sat, to the time our meals arrived was just short of 90 minutes. The Deer Park location is the better bet if you're going to go on a Friday or Saturday night.“
“We usually frequent another authentic, wood-burning pizza place in Schaumburg, but when a new Italian restaurant opened in town, had to check it out!Ambience is nice and modern - almost like a 'sports bar' vibe...lots of TVs around, the colors scheme was RED - not sure if it was for Christmas/holiday time. Also not sure how it looks during lunch time or regular non-holiday time. It does not have a 'small, cozy, Italian family' vibe but a regular chain-restaurant vibe.Staff is suited up with uniforms. Our waitress was polite, friendly and attentive. We even had them make a simple pasta with marinara sauce (off the menu) for my kids - which they did.Food - I wouldn't call it 'authentic Italian'. It's American-Italian.I missed the 'Napoli' flavor; the taste of the dough is different - the personal thin crust pizza is still thicker than usual. The oven is not wood-burning. It's gas and is automatic - it keeps revolving at a pace (kinda cool to see!), but I believe, it impacts different pizza topings differently. Nothing bad, just different!“
“Until they move in March 2024, the only atmosphere you get is wonderful smells from this currently take out only Italian food spot. The variety of pizza crusts should satisfy everyone from the New Yorker, Detroiter, South side tavern-style, right to the North side deep dish fan. Don't miss out on the Italian classic pasta offerings available all week, the daily specials, or the slices at lunch on Fridays. These are not your 6.99$ pizzas, so expect to be paying more, but the quality of ingredients and properly treated dough make them worth what you pay.“
“The food was fabulous, as was the service. You are welcomed as soon as you walk in. Haven't had one bad meal here. I was first invited to a shower there in the back room and they did a great job. I've been going back ever since, and bringing people in to try it. Yummm!“
“Out of all the pizza places in the area, this is the only place I'll even go to anymore. Most consistently good pizza and service, all the employees are super nice, and there always seems to be some sort of special going on. The parking lot is kind of small, but hasn't ever been an issue.Parking: Lot is kind of small, although I've never had a problem finding a spot, it does feel a bit cramped.“
“I stopped in to grab a pizza that wasn't a deep dish. I ordered a small, but had a large on my ticket. I had already been there a while before I saw that, so I just went with it. Sadly I only ate about 3 slices before I was full and ended up forgetting the rest of it at my hotel.“
“I had my wife’s birthday celebration dinner (party of 12) at 5:30 pm yesterday (located in the private dinning room). The entire experience - start to end was beautifully executed by the management and staff. An absolutely outstanding experience! The table was beautifully decorated, the room was very appealing, and very importantly the entire restaurant is acoustically set up to allow for comfortable table conversation (it’s not too loud). The waiter, Nate (Nathan), was very professional, attentive, and proficient. He had a great personality and sense of humor. The service was as good as it can get! The other’s assigned to our table did a nice job executing good service as well. The quality (in every regard) of all of our meal choices was absolutely superb! We eat out often (Italian and otherwise), you can’t get a better tasting meal at this price point anywhere else.Closing thought: my wife and I, as well as another couple frequent this establishment occasionally throughout the years, and it is always consistently an outstanding experience.I would highly recommend you consider this restaurant for your future dinning needs.Thank you - everyone involved last night! My wife and I are so grateful to you all.5 - STARS“
