While this place is considered iconic, I am a little confused as to why. The hotdogs were lukewarm and bland, absolutely zero bite or flavor. I did enjoy the fries very much though, and the service was pleasant.
Joe's HotDog been there since 1953. For good reason. Best hotdogs, fries and onions in Illinois. Plus it's family owned and I prefer to support ma and pa restaurants. Keep up the great

It’s a bit out of our way … but you won’t find a better tasting chili dog here on the planet! And their shoe-string fries are simply amazing! There’s a few tables outside if it’s warm out, otherwise you’ll wind up eating in your car. All part of the fun!Parking: All good!
