This had been one of my favorites since I was a kid! The food is simply delicious and always cooked to order, so hot and fresh! The Kankakee location is 1000x better than the Bourbonnais location. I'll always continue to be a loyal customer here!!
Food is excellent at this location, too.I found out the Knakakee location is not related to ownership of the location in Bourbonnais.The food is excellent at Kankakee locations. I feel the chili sauce at this location tastes similar but not exactly the same as the Bourbonnais location. The chili sauce at Kanakee tastes a little sweeter.
Jaenicke's has been around for decades. It was a favorite for, my friends and I, when we were kids and teens in the 80s and 90s. Although I moved away almost 30 years ago when I am in town visiting family and friends, I stop by to get a red hot with the classic sauce and rootbeer float. Still delicious after all these years.
