“Probably the best pizza I've had in Chicago. Started with a small focaccia sandwich filled with spinach and cheese, on the house. Really enjoyed the pistachio and sausage pizza despite it's looks. It is quite heavy though. The prosciutto and arugula pizza was a bit too salty from the meats. The tiramisu was great too. Overall a nice, homey restaurant. Would love to try the arancini next time.”
“Today, we hosted a couples shower at Stay and Play Cafe! It was beyond amazing! The owners, Yesenia and Jose were so easy and delightful to work with, the staff was attentive, recommending and teaching games to our guests of all ages, the food was delicious(cheesy eggs and quesitos were scrumptious), and the atmosphere was just perfect! I can't recommend this cafe enough. I look forward to having other functions here and/or coming with a group of friends. I can't wait to start spreading the word to family and friends. “I attended the Sober and Bougie event at Cultivate last night. My first ever event like this. It was really well done. The staff (chef/bartender) were extremely knowledgeable, the courses were timed really well, and everyone was super friendly. I had actually never been to Cultivate before; because I’m doing sober January, this event (that I saw advertised on Facebook) was screaming my name. Im really glad I went. I would encourage Cultivate to continue with more events of this nature.”
“As a perfectionist who doesn’t believe in anything being perfect, I found it hard to give any critiques to our Bistro Campagne experience. Our server, Alexander, did not miss a beat. Every bite of food was exquisite. We enjoyed the escargot and mussels as an app. Then we split the steak frites and salmon entrees. Incredible. I also highly recommend the Spanish Harlem cocktail. We will be back again.”

This is one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life.The sourdough is splendid, giving the crust a beautiful balance between soft and crunchy. The sauce is out of this world, I wish they sold jars of it so I could eat it more often. Every topping is incredibly flavorful and fresh. My favorites were the ricotta, cherry tomatoes, beef meatballs, and spinach.Make sure to preorder at least a day before you plan to go, since they make a limited amount of pizzas. Do yourself a favor and order the larger size, that way you can enjoy leftovers once you're back home and dreaming about the pizza! I can't wait to come back here again soon!”

“I will do my best to properly articulate what a spectacular time we had at Pizzeria Munno!My wife and I had wanted to come here for a while and finally found a time on Valentine's Day.Our server and wait staff were so kind and personable and could not have asked more from them.We ordered an appetizer of Bufala and Prosciutto, which was light and delicious.For the main course, we couldn't pass on the pizzas and ordered (forgive me, I forget the names), but the pepperoni pizza with drizzled Italian honey and then the artichoke pizza. They both were both so different, but incredible in their own ways.Lastly, we ordered dessert, to which they had a special pistachio Bundt cake slice drizzled with olive oil.I would highly recommend this restaurant and am regretful it took us so long to patronize. “When you walk into the place, it’s just a cute modern chic diner. It still holds the style of a diner but brighter. We walked in and it wasn’t too busy on a Thursday morning. The food was delicious, the little piggy had such great flavor with mix of sweet and tangy salty but the sausage was a bit too salty if not eaten with the biscuit or egg. The okonomiyaki is a fluffy savor pancake and flavorful sauce. The goat latte had a hint of a spices but a creamy butterness from goat milk. Absolutely amazed by the items, would recommend if you’re visiting in Chicago”

Save room for baked Alaska. Oh, and ambiance is chic but allows the focus to be where it belongs. On the food. Upscale West Loop experience in modest Portage Park for a lot less and no pretense.”

“2nd time coming and was bit disappointed. There was few open tables in other parts of the restaurant for group of 4 and they sat us by the door. Every 2-3 mins the server or someone would come up to see if we wanted to order something and barely gave us time to look at the menu. Even during dinner we felt rushed asking us if we want everything then giving us the check before asking if we wanted something else. Overall the food was good but service was very rushed.”
“I’ve been twice, once to dine in and the other to dine out. The restaurant itself is a great space. It’s small enough to feel intimate and quiet. Both times I’ve had the pastelillos de carne, lechón, y arroz con gandules. The food is SOOOO good! I’m a Puertorriqueño originally from NYC (South Bronx) and Puerto Rican food was not just plentiful at home but in the community. Since moving to the Midwest (first Nebraska, the Minnesota, and now Illinois) I’ve usually had to hope for cuisines that were proximal but not Puerto Rican (Colombian, Venezuelan, Cuban, etc.). Chicago has obviously been much better as it relates to Puerto Rican options but of all the ones I’ve tried to date (within and beyond Humboldt Park) Marina’s takes the prize for feeling most like a home cooked meal. The food is so flavorful. The portions are just right. It may be a bit pricier than some peers but honestly it’s worth it. So glad to have a place much closer to my home in Rogers Park.”
